Beautiful park, walking around and swimming in that (cold) water at the bottom of the waterfalls was worth the day trip.
Went with Go Adventure agency, which included a coach ride and boat to Krka, guided tour and about 2hrs free time i think before heading back.
Enjoyed our day and got some pretty sweet pictures out of it ;)
I wish it was a bit bigger though, a proper hike in the park would be awesome.

Important info: you will need to walk a lot of stairs, so if you aren't fine with it then don't go. We took a day trip from Split to the national park, spent an afternoon there and went back. The park is quite big and beautiful. There is also a waterfall inside, it is hidden from the outside because of the trees, so you won't see it from a car/bus on road. I felt that every part of the park is beautiful, so you should keep your camera ready.

This park is truly amazing. For the quality of its natural environment I would rate it 5/5. The way it is operated is not ideal though. The website says swimming is allowed, yet after paying and entering we were greeted with security preventing swimming. Apparently swimming is only allowed from June to August. People were swimming outside the designated areas as a result of this however.

Very beautiful! Rather easy to walk around. Only some steps that are rather steep in the end in the 2 hour tour around one waterfall with guide from the National Park. You can spend several days here if you like walking!!

Absolutely stunning. A must see if you are in the area. It's best to go in the morning when there are less people! The boat ride over (instead of the bus) is amazing as well and takes about a half hour. Definitely worth the money!

Wow, just wow. The paths are nice and easy to follow and the falls are gorgeous. Aside from the big one there are other little ones all over. I didn't take the ferries to the other location, they both leave at 12, one is 2 hours the other is 4. If you are taking public transit back then you won't make it if you take the 4 hour. You can also walk back to Skradin along the river instead of taking the ferry that takes a bit over an hour and it's along a road so an easy walk.

Fantastic park to visit and swim at. The hike around the water falls is easy and can be completed quickly. They have tons of parking and buses to take you from the parking lot to the falls. A must see.

Amazing place to see. Little parking and lots of buses. Good to know if you drive. The swimming is cold but also clear and fun. There are a number of large rocks that are slick shoes could help.

Beautiful, but a total tourist trap, it's a shame as it kinda ruins the nature vibe of the place. Wanted to go swimming, but again, its was absolutely packed with people (I can't imagine what it's like in peak season!) - felt more like a beach resort than a beautiful waterfall national park. Be sure to do the walk to escape the hoards of people and enjoy more nature

Krka National Park is an amazing place to visit, especially if you're skipping Plitvice Lakes. You get a chance to see some really beautiful waterfalls and have a swim in some of the freshest water there is! My only problem was the sheer number of people that were here, and I was here in almost off-peak season. If that bothers you, then it might not be for you.

Absolutely gorgeous place, a must see and a must swim. The waterfalls and lakes are magical and it's so unusual that you can swim in a river so clear and untouched right below the falls. It was very busy when we went but if you go early enough I think it would be much better. The working mill presentations were also a lovely addition. Definitely take goggles and a waterproof camera or case if you plan to swim.

Cool and vast park,
Very hard to reach all of its points without a car.
REALLY HIGH prices if you're not a student, and almost impossible to enjoy the waterfalls near the main entrance if you're during high season. The other stops in August are pretty crowded too.
Each day an estimated number of 8000 people enter the park during high season.

National park Krka is with Plitvice the most beautiful national park. There are a lot of small waterfalls, and several large, you can take a walk through untouched nature or admire the biggest waterfall. You can also discover how people used to live and work here.

Beautiful scenery, both at the location and on the bus ride there. Don't take organised tours, they don't add much to the experience. Just take an inter-city coach that stops at Krka, and get off at the gate. You can tour using a tram (in the US sense of the word) and lake boats, but the lines for these can be long. Walking trails make the same connections if you're up for 6km or so.
