Tradotional fish restaurant with great mediteranian terrace and traditional interior with fireplace at the middle. Good was great fresh and tasty. Good wine selection!

A great find near the hotels of Babin Kuk. We opted for this rather than our hotel for dinner our first night here and we may go back every night. Friendly service and great food. We had chicken salad and octopus salad for starters and seabass and lamb chops for mains and everything was great. We enjoyed watching them cook on the fire right in the resturant.

It had very good food and the service was excellent. Worth a try for everyone and if you are vegetarian it has good options too. If you want a meal under the bell call ahead as they require 3 hrs notice (they are octopus and meat).

very authentic and honest local restaurant with typical Croatian food. they serve fish as well as lamb and other kinds of meat. everything ist mader directly in front of you on a huge grill. they also have great vegetarian options. enjoy

Worst food i ever had in Croatia, terrible quality of meat, potato and service! Due to the unsteady table, we lost half of our wine bottle without having it replaced! staff didn't want to remove a sick dog who was sniffing around our table while eating. Going there has left an unpleasant touch on the last day of our trip. I don't recommend it!

Great place. Been twice and would go again.
I am vegetarian and it's often difficult to find any thing to eat but there was a fairly good choice. Roasted veg platter was delicious and food is cooked in front of you.
Staff courteous and helpful and charges very reasonable. Also this place has a nice authentic feel to it. Would recommend.response / report this review -

My family and I loved this place. Something about traditional wood-fired meat and hand-cooked meals makes us feel very warm and comfortable. We were even serenaded by several of the local older gentlemen who stopped by to sing some local folk songs. You can't get that from a resort or a five-star restaurant.
The food was overall pretty good, but the atmosphere was what sold us on this place. We will definitely remember our dinner here fondly and we will definitely be coming back.response / report this review -

We called ahead for two orders of the veal cooked under the bell. It was so delicious! Enough for three people. House red wine was good. Didn't order any other dishes because we weren't that hungry and the veal came with veggies (potatoes, tomatoes, zucchini) also roasted under the bell, so it was pretty filling! Also ordered a aperitif after dinner, was recommended by the server to try either the cherry, walnut or honey brandy, got the walnut and it was so delicious! Made locally. Overall wonderful experience!

Overall a quite nice dinner. We came as a walk in pretty late but had no problems to get at table. Service was quick and tentative and willing to make adaptations (you can get pancakes with both chocolate and walnuts for dessert :) and its very much worth it)
Starter fish and shrimp soups were nice and fresh. The olive oil to the bread can be recommended. We had mixed grill for main which was spot on for the meat itself. It was carefully cooked and seasoned. Not even the chicken was dry. Perfect! Not beeing a large fan of fries I would have liked to had some vegetables or such instead. Although, maybe this could be arranged if you actually ask for it. Finally, for dessert, have the pancakes. They're made on the spot!response / report this review -

Where do I start? The waiter did not acknowledge us, and after a few attempts at eye contact, told us to take a seat anywhere we wanted. The food was nice but poorly presented; the bill was a lot more than expected, apparently a large glass of wine costs twice as much as a normal glass of wine. Furthermore, five minutes before closing time, unbeknown to us, we were allowed to order one more drink each only to be left sitting in the pitch black dark outside, drinking out of plastic cups.

I think this restaurant has good food that tastes delicious. And the chocolate fondant is excellent.
But one of the servers stuck a spoon into my dessert, so that maked the restaurant loose a star from my opinion.response / report this review
