It doesn’t matter how hard the staff is trying, and they’re trying hard, management doesn’t care and the overall standard of care is low.
I worked there, had family members treated and some survived and some didn’t.
To be honest, I don’t wanna be treated here and I don’t want any of my friends to be treated there as well.
Washing gloves, re-using of single used multiple times, toilets are worse than public ones, lack of needed medication -all not uncommon.

I am an Tourist in rijeka and i had NEVER EVER seen a that bad hospital! Its dirty, the employees are unfriendly and most of them dont speak english! I had to wait more than 4 hours. To all foreigners, believe me , dont visit this hospital
I tried to get information about a patient in Rijeka hospital, unfortunately all the numbers I tried to reach were unreachable I am glad I don't need any services from this hospital because I would be dead at the time I would be able to reach them. No response at all on all the phone numbers I tried to call. After half an hour there was one number which responded. However I didn't get the answer on my question. However I got an information which is quite valuable I found, and that is: ' yes sir, you might find this an EU country but this is Croatia'. My clue is Croatia is not EU and that's how people think about that and obviously behave in that manner and that's how people feel about it. There is one question above we are talking about the hospital, not politics. I have the feeling that people in Croatia are more busy with politics in hospitals than trying to save lives, pity on them.
Bolnica je u jako losem stanju.
