Natural campsite became dusty parking lot with no shadow.
We have been guests in this camp for many years and until this year's renovation it was a quiet spot in crowded Istra. Since we have a newborn we wanted to make sure to have a good parcel with shadow for our summer vacation.
Although we heard about significant changes we were still in shock what happened there. Constriction site with heavy machinery while camp being officially open. Majority of trees cut down, shore and campsite covered with gravel and rocks and a fancy highway around the camp. Obviously architects never camped by themselves.
Very sad that all Croatian turist sites are getting alike. I don't know if this is due to the requested profit or bad perception. Will my kids have a change to climb trees, ride a bike through the grass and forest, discover wildlife and play on the beach created by nature itself?
Yes, nice new facilities and a new name but this is not a place you want to go, especially with a baby. Despite reservation we we'll have to go elsewhere.response / report this review -

I have been camping in the newly renovated section of the camp for the last 35 years. I spent countless hours under the oak trees in the company of squirrels, hedgehogs and birds. But all the trees have been cut and the hedgehogs and the squirrels are gone. This year I was assigned a site without a single tree on it, so I had to go to the other side of the camp to find some shade. And the view - there is a two lane road with a huge parking lot right in front. What a disappointment after all these years. To have trees cut down to make way for an ugly road and a parking lot. And the beach is not nice at all on this side- one can't jump into the water at all.

I have been coming camping here for the last 30 years - literally since I was born. I visited with my parents today and I cried when I saw what remains after the renovation. Wide roads, concrete everywhere, all the trees gone. We could not recognize the place. If the advisory board believes that the fancy bathrooms will draw a bigger crowd, they are mistaken. I could not care less about bathrooms. I was so in shock walking around I didn’t even think of peeing. The younger generation does not share the obsession with concrete that apparently convinced the administration to do what they did. If I want a nice bathroom, I will just book an Airbnb, pay less and have that nice bathroom. The point of camping is to be close to the sea, to lie in the shade and read a book, etc. I can’t do that now - I cannot avoid concrete no matter what I do. I am still upset just thinking about it. My friends who have also been coming for 30 years are changing plans last minute - one family is going to Sri Lanka, others are going to the islands that are more pristine. I will not be coming back anymore and in me the camp lost another customer that would probably continue returning for the next 30 or 40 years (with family too). Goodbye, the beautiful camp of my childhood.

Part of camping place is under construction, but it will be finished soon. It looks very good, so I can't wait to put trailer on the spot and enjoy the summer.

Der FFK-CAMPINGPLATZ liegt sehr schön. Leider haben wir die Erfahrung gemacht, mit Hund sollte man ihn meiden. Es gibt zwei Seiten auf dem CP. Mit und ohne Hunde. Leider sind auf der Seite, wo Hunde erlaubt sind, auch Camper die keine Hunde mögen. Es wird sich ständig beschwert über die Hunde bei der Rezeption. Außerdem sind die Hundebadestellen sehr begrenzt. Man kann ihn zwar mit an den Strand nehmen aber nicht baden lassen. Man bezahlt für den Hund, aber Hundefreundlich kenne ich anders. Mein Fazit ist als Hundebesitzer, meidet den schönen Campingplatz . Deshalb auch nur drei Sterne

Der Platz hat ein super Lage am Meer ..leider funktioniert die Reservierung nie..der bestätigte Platz war vor Ort immer belegt ..allerdings haben wir trotzdem einen tollen Platz bekommen

Very beautiful place right at the sea BUT véry NOISY at night. A few bars have loud music and one place at a hotel next door is sooo loud till 4am every night. During the day there is a lot of (touristic)boat traffic. And a lit of men are using the women facilities and the staff does nothing about that.

Een meer als geweldige camping die qua hygiëne er met kop en schouders bovenuit steekt.
Vele vaste gasten, sommigen al tientallen jaren. Zegt genoeg!
's Avonds stil behalve een enkele discoboot die voorbij vaart, of vuurwerk van nabijgelegen plaatsen.response / report this review
