Das hotel ist etwas renovierungsbedürftig, aber die Angestellten sind sehr nett. Das Essen ist auch abwechslungsreich.

Very worn out hotel that has a clear lack of maintainance. The only reason to check in here is a wish to experience real 1978 interior design and see and experience for yourself the paint falling of from the roof.
Not kidding - we woke up with paint spots all over our body. The only good reason for two stars rating is the location in the very center of Podgora. No aircon makes sleeping a hard job, and you wake up time and time over again to realize that you need to cool down.response / report this review -

The only good thing about this hotel is that it's right on the beach. Everything is very outdated and needs work. The staff is pretty average, but the food is not great at all. I could tell most of it was not freshly cooked food; most of it was canned or frozen bagged food. Save yourself the money and explore your other options in the area, all the prices are comparable to each other anyways.

Well, not the nicest Hotel ive been at. The breakfast werent so good. The room were ok, biut no AC. BUT, the staff is great. The location is great.

We stayed at the Hotel Minerva - side building, we were on a half board.
The furniture and doors in the room were a little disaster. The handle of the wooden door leading to the terace was broken and the inner french door couldn´t be locked properly and also there was a cca 10cm rectangular hole in the glass - luckily there weren´t any thieves around during our stay. The door leading from the entrance hall to the room couldn´t be closed - something wrong with the hinges. The plastic holder of the toilet tissues placed on the wall wouldn´t stay closed and I kept hurting myself on it whenever I went to the loo. Also, the toliet seat was out of place and there was a big round scratch on it. The sink was always blocked. Not to mention there wasn´t any fridge in the room. You´d have to rent that if you wanted this "luxury". I could go on and on but I think these were the main problems. If anybody´s interested, I have pictures of the things I mentioned above.
But - on the other hand the staff were ever so great with us, the cleaning ladies looked after our room every morning, we received clean towels (especially the one for the floor) every day. The waiters and waitresses were also very helpful and nice, as well as the receptionists.
