For almost an hour there is no one at the receprion desk. The phone is ringing, no one is pickin up. The guest cannot leave the hotel. Bye bye the plan to catch the ferry. Is this 4stars level of service.
If enyone ever suggest staying in Marco Polo in the future, I'll pass on!!!response / report this review -

Breakfast same everyday, no fried eggs or baked beans. Evening Food quite good. Staff excellent.

Stuck in the 70s/80s! I'm sure this hotel would have been luxurious once, but it hasn't been updated in a long long time. Other guests looked like they'd been there since then. Even my 69 year-odd mother said they all looked old!
Dinner is an old school buffet. We found this out when bad weather prevented us from venturing further. Next time I'd just get a taxi somewhere better!
Breakfast Most days was ok but on the last day they'd run out of pouring yoghurt. Except for sugary purple stuff - no plain yoghurt to be had. If I were them I'd have run down the shops for more but no chance.response / report this review -

Stipe and Nives from the front desk were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Friendliest hotel staff I've ever come across. The hotel is very clean and pleasant. The breakfast selection is vast, and they have an indoor as well as an outdoor pool. Truly an excellent experience.

Lovely hotel, staff make the hotel what it is, everyone so helpful. Food fresh and so much to choose from. Rooms kept so clean. Definately recommend this hotel to base your holiday of Korcula Island.

Nase iskustvo u hotelu Marko Polo ponajprije bilo je razocaravajuce s obzirom da hotel ima 4 zvjezdice. Pocevsi od soba u kojima je wc katastrofa ali velika katastrofa, pod time mislimo da nakon tusiranja wc bude poplavljen, rucnici vidno prljavi, skoljka je toliko stisnuta uz radiator da se sa oprostenjem ne moze ni kakati. U mini baru bilo je 30 stupnjeva, televizije u cijelom hotelu su manje od radia i barem nama je slika bila mutna i nikakva. Sto se tice welnessa je uredu samo radi dvokratno i ne nude apsolutno nista za popiti cega bi trebalo biti svagdje u sklopu sauna. Sto se tice hrane dorucak je ok ali vecera je totalna nula npr. ( suha riza, suha tjestenina sa komadicima gljiva iz konzerve itd..) doslovno smo se okrenuli i otisli ca. Svasta mozemo jesti ali ono je stvarno sramotno Moramo pohvaliti terasu koja ima prekrasan pogled i atmosfera je ugodna. Sto se tice osoblja da sjedis tri sata na terasi nitko nece doci kako bi te posluzio. Ukratko lijenost ocigledno vidljiva. I za kraj želimo istaknuti da je skroz nerealna cijena za ono što se dobije.. Neki će misliti da smo cicije ali samo iskreno iznosimo svoje iskustvo s obzirom na iskustvo pa eto tko voli nek izvoli..

Odličan hotel za odmor. Predivan pogled iz soba i bazena na stari dio grada. Veliki izbor specijaliteta od mesa, ribe, svježeg voća. Ljubazno i profesionalno osoblje.

Large rooms, good service, fantastic views from the pool area, we quite liked our stay. Breakfast was okay,but,dinner was a tad ordinary, we only stayed for one night
