This is my first posting I don't leave reviews, I prefer people to form their own opinions, but this has come to my attention asking for my review, please remember this is my opinion!!!
Nice hotel great location that's about it, rooms cramped you have to limbo past a tv on the wall which overhangs the bed, move chairs so you can get on the balcony, once in bed it's ok unless you get up in the night. Food is not fit to feed to pigs usually for breakfast it's Brussel sprouts and left overs from the night before meal scrambled eggs with carrots in broccoli coated in some sort of cheese and fish by the shoal. Hard boiled eggs were a lottery sometimes rotten , can't find any bacon in the tray of fat, yoghurt is drinking yoghurt.
Evening meal is worse beef soup every night just added another stock cube, how many variations of potatoes do you need , trays of god knows what, supposedly hot food quite often cold, cold buffet definitely not cold, where are food hygiene regs!!!! . We preferred to eat out even though we had paid for evening meals. Lifts didn't work first week carrying babies and prams four floors no joke, receptionist just said I know will be fixed soon when we complained. Just reminds me of the old Yugoslavia Communist holidays . Maid service if you're lucky, exchange bath towels for hand towels, no essentials like soap or toilet rolls, beds not made, overall pretty crappy!!#
Would I recommend!! definitely not 🚫👎
Quiet hotel nice grounds well maintained only down side rooms a bit small but immaculate. Breakfast good selection on offer
Excellent!!!beautifull place..best dinner and breakfast.
This is obviously a hotel for the elderly as the average age is 60+. The rooms are fairly small, the bed is made from concrete & you can hear what's going on from the rooms next door as the walls are made from cardboard. The tv in our room was broken, the shower sprayed more water at the ceiling than on you & the toilet was covered in poop on arrival. The dinning hall is a bit of a free for all & the food put out is the same bland food & not a lot of variety, Poorly made cocktails & the bar staff are a bit rude. Although it is the second week of September, it does feel like the season is over. On the plus side porec is only 1.9 miles away & easy to walk to with lots of really nice restaurants & bars.
Lovely staff, beautiful location, well maintained, fabulous place for a holiday.
in total it was quite ok! the hotel is furnished in a modern way and fully equiped! the pool is crowded and very noisy in the main season, prepare to reserve your sunbeds there in the morning around 8 am :) you get breakfast and dinner at a buffet together with ~500 other guests - don't expect haute cuisine! the rooms are definitely too tiny, but clean at least! enjoy your stay there, very well-meant 4 stars from my side :)
The hotel is really nice except maybe that the rooms are cramped especially when you have a child with you. The food is excellent and the common areas are spacious. The hotel and its surrounding is very clean and beautiful. The beach is with pebbles or stones but once you buy your silicon slippers that is not a problem. The water is super clean. The only other real complaint I have is that it is difficult to get into Porec if you don't have your own car with you. There is a bus leaving from the hotel 3x a day only. Alternatively you can walk 1km to catch a little train that goes every 40 minutes. Or you need to call a taxi. Nevertheless my 6 year old loves it and that is the best evaluation I can give.
Lovely place. Delicious food. Polite personal.
Great hotel in a wonderful city. Suitable for holidays or a visit to Porec
great
Super
Great hotel for the star rating. Very clean, great facilities, kind & helpful staff, good selection of food. Minor negatives include too much salt in food, leaky shower, annoying slow lifts and poorly made cocktails.
