No working AC. Too strict baggage policy will only hold until 1:30pm. Also my sheets did not seem clean. several stray hairs and did not smell fresh. Overpriced.

They ask you to leave the key on a mailbox next to the door ifyou are going to leave the hostal before 9 am and the receptioist is not there. I did it so, left my bags and then left to walk the city. When I came back the receptionist asked me to provide the key. I explained that I left it on the mailbox. He said it wasn't there. He said that maybe I left it somwhere else. I was sure I left it on the mailbox, but, keeping in mind that I was to catch a bus in less than haf an hour and that the whole situation was quite dodgy, I decided to pay the fee (it was supposed to be 350 kunas (around 55USD), but the guy said he was going to charge me just 200 kunas (around 30USD). I paid it and left with a bitter taste in my mouth. If you decide to stay here, make sure to provide the key to the receptionist to avoid this quite annoying situation.

Fantastic location just outside the old town, right next to "blackwater bay" nearby bar and nightclub and restaurants. The staff are the most wonderful and nice I have ever seen at a hostel. Beds could be more comfortable. Wonderful overall.

Dirty, cramped and over priced.
Do yourself a favour and don't stay here.
