Advantages of place: really great location in central part of old town of Krk, nice and helpful personnel, good price.
Disadvantages: worn-out building and inventory, really poor breakfast, no parking, noisy neighbors.response / report this review -

Personnel is nice and welcome. The restaurant seems also good. The breakfast is continental, no additional tax.
The rooms and bathrooms were clean.
NO PRIVATE PARKING !!!! (On internet, they indicate that they have one) So, you may pay if there is no free parking available.response / report this review -

This hostel has very small rooms it was very hot no conditioner no can nothing in the summer the beds were clean but the closet was small and a little dirty and bugs were everywhere .The breakfast was ok . The personal we're helpful and really nice though .

The place is really well located, on top of the old city, avoiding noise in the late evenings so one can have a good sleep for being only 5 min away from the beach. The restaurant is directly connected to the hostel, making dinner easy to find after a long hiking day. A small drawback would be the absence of kitchen for self-cooking, but the staff is really nice and proposed us to store our food in their kitchen fridge. Free hiking trails maps are available, as well as a more detailed map of the old city at the reception. Service was really much appreciated. To recommend. ;)

WARNING! AGGRESSIVE BEDBUGS! I rented a room No. 17 on 2016-08- (30/31). About 3 after midnight I woke up all bitten by bedbugs. For half an hour hunting for insects killing hundreds of them. Many bugs were full of my blood. In the morning conversation with the owner of the hostel ended without success. HE TOLD ME THAT BEDBUGS ARE NOT HIS PROBLEM BUT THIS IS A PROBLEM OF HOSTEL GUESTS! After I called the police, and the bugs have caught in a jar I got to the Krk sanitary-epidemiological station. After a few days I got an email from the Main Sanitary Doctor of Croatia with the information that the hostel was closed. I also 2 times I was forced to visit the doctor in Krk, getting injections. I'm not allergic but allergic reaction to the bites were extremely severe. The doctor counted on my body more than 100 bites. Severe itching disturbing the sleep lasted over a week. Of course, this hostel is a very dangerous place. Bed bugs can infect infectious diseases. The owner is extremely arrogant.

We found COCKROACHES and BED BUGS in this hostel! we surely do not recommend this hostel!
