Here is the main bus station from Dubrovnik to get to eg Mostar. But the bus to Mostar that we (a party of 11 from Hong Kong and UK) booked on July 24, 2017 did not show up on time and we did not hear any announcement. Upon enquiry with the reception counter, we learned that "always late" was the standard - ranging from 1-3 hours - ours ended up the average!

Terrible staff manning the ticket counter. I queued for 10 minutes and them asked for 2 local tickets costing 12 Kuna each. Gave 100 Kuna that I had just withdrawn from ATM beside counter. Lady refused to sell ticket and say that 100 Kuna is too big a note to pay for 24 Kuna. She told me I had to pay to bus driver. In the end, I had to pay 30 Kuna on board local bus.

"Super" service. We are sitting in the bus and have been waiting for an hour and 15 minutes for the bus to leave. Apparently the bus was overbooked and it took the bus company more than an hour to figure it out. Senseless

Ticket agent at the booth was rude and disrespectful. Worse customer service I have ever received in Croatia. She withheld information and was generally unhelpful. Station was adequate.

Horrible customer service. I stood at the ticket office window waiting for the grumpy lady inside to finish her conversation with her colleague. I then asked if this was the best place to purchase a ticket and she said yes. Only later did I realize that I purchased a ticket loaded with additional reservation fees just 5 minutes before I could have purchased it on the bus itself.

Beware! The staff at the official ticket counters openly lie about ticket availability. I went on Monday (June 2017) to buy a bus ticket for Tuesday to Montenegro (Kotor). There are buses at 08:15, 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, etc. I asked for the 11:00 bus and she said the only seats left were for the 08:15 bus with the local "Libertas" bus company. She said all the other buses are "always full" and didn't even check the system. Sounded suspicious and when I checked the website I saw there were over 50 seats available for multiple times, so I went to the *other* ticket booth and asked her to check the availability for the 11:00 bus to Kotor. She refused to check. I've never seen a ticket agent at a bus station refuse to sell bus tickets before! My guess is there is a bribery/kickback scheme going on? I bought my ticket online and sure enough the next day there were plenty of empty seats on the 11:00 bus to Kotor. Bizarre experience, but be warned that the agents in the ticket counter will lie about buses being full - get them online instead!

A little confusing in comparison to, let's say, the Split bus depot but I ended up finding out where I needed to be. There are cabs available to take you to Old Town/The City Walls but it's at a really high premium.

I am a tourist and we were walking last night back to the Valamar Hotel along the #6 bus route in Dubrvnik after very enjoyable dinner. We walk around a curve and sidewalk ended so we were forced to walk on the steet and then along the bus stop. At that moment, the #6 bus at a very rate of speed came around the corner and bus driver laying on the horn (instead of slowing down) nearly hitting the friend I was with. She needs knee surgery and is 62-years old and she tried running but nowhere to go. He came within inches of hitting her!!!!

This bus driver should be FIRED so hopefully someone that manages the bus company reads this review. They will easily be able to figure out who he is and should terminate him before he murders someone. The time was approximately 21:00 hours, 16th of November.

If he reads this he will know who he is. I found the bus further ahead parked with interior lights on so I started walking fast and then running and then he quickly turned lights off, started bus and as I started to run he left. Coward. He is lucky he did.

I wish I could describe him better but only know that he was very stupid looking.

This station is right in front of the cruise port. Took bus #10 to cavtat25kn and pay to the driver. The bus frequency is 20mins.
Misleading: the ticket windows sell ticket for the coaches that go to Cavtat too, every hourly and cost 10times more.250kn return (2 ways).
We checked, taxi to Cavtat cost 360kn one way, per car (seats 4).

The Dubrovnik Bus Terminal (main bus station) is situated in Gruž in the vicinity of the port/harbour. It has been built recently, located on the place of the old train station of Čapljina (BiH)-Dubrovnik (Croatia)-Zelenika (Montenegro) Railway which ceased its operation in 1976. Plans are made for building a new terminal outside the Gruž port. In addition to international lines, there are bus lines between Dubrovnik and all the major cities in Croatia on a daily basis. The old bus terminal (inaccurately shown on the map near OTP Banka in the business centre) doesn't exist (now it is a parking near "Libertas" (Dubrovnik Public Bus Transport Company: city & suburban lines) station/stop.

Small but clean and neat since it is quite new station. Feels overcrowded when the frequency of travleres is at its upmost (being small station that's 4 buses or more at the same time). Also they charge for everything including toilets (3 kn). As far as I know there is no place to leave your luggage. On the plus side there is a big store nearby and the city bus going to the center is just few meters away.

A bit uncomfortable where they charge us for everything. Feel ripped off. I book my to tickets online and was requested to pay additional 12 Kuna for another ticket printed. And then, there is luggage service for the bus, it priced at €1 but I paid in 10 Kuna which I did not get back my change. Nevertheless, small clean bus terminal which has city buses to get you to the town.
