  Very friendly staff. The doctors are well-versed and take a lot of time and explain in detail. There is a 10% discount for cash payments, card payments are possible. An appointment is necessary and Dr Solomon speaks German.

  After more than 40 minutes of waiting for the examination we arrived at the agreed time, none of the staff bothered to provide any explanation or apology for the wait. In the end, we left without even doing an examination because we think something like that is unacceptable.

  Probably a good clinic. unless you have a recalled J&J Dupuy ASR hip implant. This clinic is approved by J&J. Don't expect any support or cooperation. Dr Nemec would rather neglect a patient's rights than do anything to upset J&J.
  
  Some further details.
  
  My late uncle (Alan Lees) had two J&J implants at the clinic. All went well with initial surgery. The clinic failed to advise on ASR recall and Dr Nemec is on public record stating that there was no issue with ASR implants. Alan died within 12 weeks of first revision surgery - no fault of the clinic.
  
  I became estate executor and had a legal requirement to provide J&J with medical records as evidence in a USA damages action. Nemec persistently ignored my requests, then referred me to his lawyers. They then also ignored my requests and blocked my emails.
  Dr Nemec was given every opportunity to assist yet expresses surprise when his obtuse and obstructive behaviour is reported in a public forum.
  
  Self preservation and protecting a cosy and profitable relationship with J&J seemed more important than assisting a (now deceased) client.
  
  There was never a question of medical failings. My late uncle's experience at the clinic was good.
  
  (As an aside and certainly not a direct criticism of Nemec Clinic: Foreign clients should be aware the Croatia's legal system does not support medical damages claims. The cost of bringing an action will be far higher than any successful settlement. Consequently you have no protection, no guarantees and no little hope of restitution if anything goes wrong. Croatian clinics know this.)

  My 84-year old father had hip replacement at Dr. Nemec's hospital two weeks ago. The professionalism and level of care at this institution are out of this world: absolutely exceptional. Dr. Nemec was extremely attentive both before and after the surgery. The nursing staff and physiotherapists were top notch and wonderfully pleasant people. The food was excellent. My father summarized his experience in the following words: "It was like Switzerland." He is recovering well!

  Osoblje jako ljubazno, na svako pitanje ili zahtjev odgovore isti tren. Dr. Nemec daje paznju svakom pacijentu i jako je ljubazna i srdacna osoba. Preporucujem svima koji zele vrhunsku njegu!
