Popular company. Has a office in major cities, which means easy access to help when you get in trouble. Do get full cover insurance even if it is expensive. Have to pay extra bucks to drop off in different city(country) but worth it. Recommended.

Was really pleased with the service, they seemed very helpful. However, they gave us a Serbian registered car and within a day it had been vandalised (someone removed the number plate and turned it upside down). Not major, but enough to make us really uncomfortable and have to change the car- an extra 150km drive. When we spoke to head office and the Zadar branch they said we were right to be concerned. They were very helpful but why give us this car if it was sensible to be worried?

This Thrifty company is a scam, avoid everyone! We hired a car from Split to Zagreb and left it at the Zagreb office overnight and left the key in drop box. 2 days later they informed us there was a scratch on the passenger side when it wasn't there before. We took nice car of the car and did not scratch it. Who knows what happened after we dropped off the car. We made a mistake of not taking photos after parking the car. Avoid this corrupt company in Split, they are the worst! Thanks for spoiling our holiday, you are so unprofessional and absolute fraud!

We rented a car a last summer in Split, in branch office in town ,and return back in Sarajevo. Instaed of ford fiesta we got toyota avensis and gratis gps. We were pleasantly suprised by kindness and professionalism of employees in Split, and Sarajevo also. We highly recommend this rent a car company to all, and next summer we plan to rent a car again at dollar thrifty
