Nice little cove to anchor your boat. It's two coves over from an old submarine tunnel and worth visiting.

Amazing building. Well worth the short hike. 40 kuna entrance. Tour guide is one of the two owners, and is very nice.

We berthed our mini rental boat and followed the rocky but relatively easy uphill path (easily marked with white red white). It was about an hour. The forest had burned and successively there were lots of mini pine trees. Actually it was really quiet (we went end of Sept ). We saw some goats doing goat things. At the top the monastery was interesting and there are tours seemingly all day. Closed Mondays . English wasn't the best but otherwise understandable. Tour /entrance was 40 kuna. There was beer ,wine and water also available. Friendly people .according to the guide ,"big chief priest, no work , all accommodation, very organised. "

Solitary is ok but I would advise talking more difficult route especially in the afternoon. Better view and shorter walk.

Amazing place and site where you'll find one truly firsthand insight into 400 years of history of one very special community. Everything is there still as it was when last lord of this place died in 1963. Religion, astronomy, Everything is there. I do not recommend to go there when it's really hot. Rather chose a cloudy day. Do not hike there in flip-flops.
