  Great rustic place with a lot of charm. Everything is home locally made, be it liquor or octopus salad etc

  Personel more or less ok, ambient very nice, but food is overprized ( I mean ooooverprized), quality, portions deep below average.

  National dishes and bread baked in front of you. Fresh fish, vegetables from garden next to kitchen. Bread flour milled in water powered mill and baked in wood burnig oven in front of you.

  The surroundings and atmosphere were superb for an evening special meal. We went on our wedding anniversary , the staff were very attentive and helpful with advice on food and wine . However the food did not live up to expectations. I had the mixed grill platter ,the cuts of meat were disappointing ,not the generous portion the menu promised.
  We visited again later in our week, I opted this time for the fillet steak in a gorgonzola and walnut sauce which was delicious, let down by the steak (how can you ruin fillet steak). It appeared to have been cooked from frozen ,a nice charring on the outside but gelatinous inch thick layer in the middle.?. One of the best steaks I have ever eaten was in Dalmatia this however was probably one of the worst I have ever eaten.
  This could be an excellent restaurant with a good chef at the helm.

  Must visit this village! It feels like you are set in a time way back in an old etno village right in the middle of Dalmatia.
