  I was amazed to go to this church and find my grandfather and uncles names in a book the priest preserved. I am so grateful that the priest was so friendly and helpful. To see my family names Pavic and our ancestors was an experience like no other.

  Barokowy kościół św Franciszka z Asyżu, którego historia sięga 1601 roku. Kosciół został wzniesiony w latach 1736 -1753, jest arcydziełem budowniczego Ivana Skoko. Przy wejściu do kościoła, zwrócić należy uwagę na barokowy ołtarz z 18. wieku.
  Wieś Betina została założona przez Turków w 16 wieku. Mieszkańcy są w większości pracujący w rolnictwie, jako plantatorzy oliwek.
