Worth a visit. We spend a day here in May. It was a sunny day, so first we enjoyed swimming and sunbathing at the beach. Then rent a golf cart and drove around the island. The safari park was great, only the elephant was asleep (better chance to see him before 2 p.m.)

Beautiful park, recommend the safari tour and renting a bike afterwards. Roman ruins are nice to visit.

Esperienza meravigliosa.

I'm rating the National Park Excursion (not required if youre staying at a hotel on the island).

The two most important and interesting parts of the island were barely touched on, or forgotten completely.

They drove straight past the Roman ruins without stopping, casually mentioning what the site was. They didn't even go to the DINOSAUR TRACKS, which I hiked by myself a LONG distance after the tour was over. That area was really awesome nobody there.

The 'excursion' actually lasts around two hours once on the island, and most of this is spent visiting a museum of Yugo president Tito, learning about Tito this and that, etc etc. There is a quick 'train' tour of part of the island, where you can see livestock and different animals. The rest is talking about all the hotels on the island, and Tito's villa (which you end up only seeing the GATE of)
