Despite having visited Island Brac more than 10 times I still love going there, no matter whether which of the smaller cities I go to there is always something new to see. I know most tourist head to Bol to see the golden tongue beach, but there are some many other great small cities on the Island, so if you have time plan in a longer visit. If you like bike riding Brac is also a great place, you have asphalt and dirt tracks which could take you to any city on the island

Nice, but it's far. You have to take a ferry, then drive for about an hour. Very dependable on time schedule. Overcrowded, very pebelly beach, windy. Nice views though, but still Brela (No 1), or the beaches on Krk island are much, much better and a lot more to see.

Possibly the nicest island of Dalmatia/Adriatic. A great choice for all: nature lovers, sun&sea lovers, culture and gastronomy lovers You won't be bored and you'll likely wish you had booked yourself for a little longer.

Brač is one of many beautiful Croatian islands. We stay in Bol where is placed one of the most famous public beach in the world!
Highly recommend to visit this island from September till June to feel real "island life" and to enjoy locals hospitality!

Brac is a beautiful island just off Croatia. If you fly into split, then it is just a 50 minute ferry ride away as the island only has one small airport. There are tones of day boat trips to visit other islands and on the north side, you can even see the main land during the day and lit up at night.

Ideally you need a car or bike to get around and see everything but the bus service is good and cheap as well. It's like a very calm hidden treasure when you come out of season (mid September is ideal for the warm sunny days and few people).

Be prepared to walk though as the scenery is beautiful but a real hike to get around and walk the trails up and down the mountains. Also there is no sand for 95% of the island. The only sand beach is on the south side which is very busy all year round.

Brac offers a wide variety of holiday possibilities but is best for quite family holidays in picturesque small towns by the sea. Of course if you are mad for surfing Bol is you place. Best is rent a small boat and go to deserted lovely beaches which you find almost everywhere.

Beautiful sea and nature. Many restaurants to visit with afordable prices. Roads are not the best in some places (too narrow) which can cause a bit of traffic.

One of the best island in croatia to visit. Besides the famous Bol in the south there are a couple of very nice towns (best visited by boating/sailing) on the north shore. Very easy and convinient to get to by ferry.
