One of the best wine tasting events I've been too. The main guy was great. So much information on each wine. Would love to go back again. The interior was classy, everything you would expect. Highly recommend it.

Unique, historical wine place in Zagreb! It's a wine shop and wine bar on one place, where you can buy, taste and learn everything about Croatian wines. Also, you can taste lot of food paired with local wines. Should be your first station after crossing the main square!

Excellent selection of wine, a beautiful ambience and friendly staff.

Located in an old wine cellar with a brick vaulted ceiling and tasteful decoration of wine bottles it makes for a really comfy place to enjoy a glass of prime quality local wine.

Ask for a recomendation, you won't be sorry.

There is a wine shop next to the bar which has a solid selection of Croatian and imported wine.

Prices are reasonable in both the shop and the bar.

The owners are super friendly and often organize tastings and seminars.

If you enjoy fine wine make this your regular spot!

Absolutely stunning, whether you go for a wine tasting/sampling or for wine you choose by the glass or bottle. Friendly and informative. I had a wine tasting flight with cheese platter to match some of the wines. I received a very good explanation about the Croatian wine industry, grapes and information about the wines. The wines were very good. Worth a visit.

Went here to taste some local Croatian wines. The knowledge and friendliness of the place made you feel very welcome. One of the owners is Australian/Croatian so it made it very simple to communicate in English and he even helped make us a dinner booking at a local restaurant.

Came in the afternoon to taste Croatian wines. There wasn't much information on the website but the reviews seemed good so we came by after seeing the cathedral. They are in the same building as the honorary consulate of Syria.

The brochure I grabbed on the way down the steps into the store seemed to suggest that most of the tastings required a reservation, but they were happy to let us try out the "Tour of Croatia" tasting without reservation (225 kuna total) and split the tastes between me and my husband. Doris was the person who poured for us and shared her knowledge of the Croatian wine region. The wines were great, Doris was super friendly and knowledgeable and we spent a lovely afternoon of several hours on this tasting. Each pour was a nice size for both of us to have a good sampling of each wine.

They're open late so come after dinner for a glass to unwind. They serve drinks other than wine as well (rum, gin, beer, aperitifs)

Great value, nice afternoon, and great people. Highly recommend!

We visited Vinoteca Bornstein on an October evening. I told the sommelier that I know very little about Croatian wines, and he kindly offered to give us a "Croatian Wines 101" course, complete with a map on an easel. He explained the different terroires, and introduced us to several regional wines which we would not otherwise have experienced. It was a most enjoyable evening, in a delightful setting. Strongly recommended.

Great selection of Croatian wines, very top quality vintages. Try the Taste of Croatia wine tasting. Nice selection of reds and whites. They can also ship to USA.
