  First time in 3years that we were dissapointed with food. Veal medallions were overdone and dry and croquettes were tough and chewy. It was not by mistake since another person that ordered the same meal later had the same complaint. This never happened to us before here, everything was always tender and juicy. They also changed the recipe for tomatoe soup.it used to be superb, red like ripe tomatoes and was bursting with flavour. now it's orange in color and tasts like chilli, nothing more, I would't dare to call it a tomatoe soup anymore.
  besides that - burgers are still great with really tasty dip. The pistachio cake is velvety and the coffee is superb.

  Lovely food, great selection of beer. Professional, and friendly staff. Easy to access, as it is located by the main road. It also has rooms to rent. From the menu I can recommend the hamburger it's really special. Pizza is also great!

  We came to Barrel by chance. This is a hotel/restaurant/bar just behind their own gas station. Surrounding is really bad but it has a lot of parking space. The venue itself is really nice, staff was young but acted old school, very professional. Food seems a bit pricey at first glance (more suited for downtown Zagreb) but you get a really good value. Burger we ordered were with 220 grams of meat and potato included. Burger was really good, with "special sauce" based on honey and mustard. Baked potatoes were best that I have tasted in Zagreb by far. I will come back and I will recommend to other people.

  Very tasty food with a lot of local specialties, not that crowded or expensive, excellent place for group gatherings. Waiters are friendly and professional.
