Gorgeous building and location, right on the promenade. There are only 7 rooms, and the hotel is full of character and charm. We stayed in room 5 which had it’s own little balcony over looking the water. There is a lift despite the age of the building. Bed was very comfortable. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Visited in mid-May which is still low-season so whole area very quiet and peaceful. Short walk to the local bars and restaurants, and Stari-grad is a good alternative to Hvar town which is still only 20min drive. The on-site restaurant was also excellent.

Classy and friendly service, tasty good food plated with some finesse, big soft cushions on the chairs and live piano music - what more could you ask for?
Both soups were really good and the surprise dessert did not leave us disappointed! We could not come up with something negative so we have no choice but to leave five stars!

Apolon restaurant might be the best place to eat in Hvar. You can choose sea food to be cooked and the chef will suggest how it can be cooked. You will get unforgettably delicious meal. Great service and view.
Definitely wanna come back again.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Teurer als Durchschnitt, aber es lohnt sich. Gebäude ist 140 Jahre alt, hohe Räume. Fenster sind ein bisschen klein. Service ist freundlich. Angeblich isst man sehr gut hier. Restaurant Bereich ist schön, mit Sicht auf den Hafen. Würde wieder kommen.
