  From the speedy responses to emails to the prompt arrival of a reasonably priced car in good condition, Avax rent a car is a superb company! We were dealt with very professionally with no problems and the car served us well during a week in Croatia. If we return to Croatia we will definitely be using Avax's services again! Thanks for helping our week to run smoothly.

  Simple to reserve and hire, friendly, funny guy in the Split centre office ('then you have the car then you are free like a bird!'), returned to a different city for minimal fee, no issues at all on return. Highly recommended.

  We booked a car to/from Split for 3 weeks. When we received the Car it had a lot of small scratches and dents.This concerned us a little as we had read some horror stories about small scratches being found at return and charged at high rates with some companies. Avax just told us to check the car, take photos and mark the damage which we did. No problems on return and no problems taking the car over the border. The only negative is that they do not have the car fully fueled and you need to return it at the same level. Prefer full to full personally as this is easier and you do not need to find a fuel station straight away. The location in Split is very handy for both the ferry and the airport bus.

  Very courteous and professional service and despite slight damage requiring a new wing mirror (not my fault I must add). The staff sorted things out with the minimum of fuss and in a pleasant manner. Thanks to all staff at Split Office.

  perfect! super easy and fast. Very thorough with checking the car and making sure i was comfortable. gave us a brand new car. Esp easy knowing we could cross borders without fuss. Some rentals wont allow it

  Amazing service - we booked a car online the night before and got a very quick response. Email was detailed. Staff was super friendly and attentive at the counter. They just moved in 2 weeks ago, so it was a tad hard to locate the shop as the sign was not up yet. Fuss free, and super helpful, service with a smile. Recommended.

  Great car rental service, friendly staff, car in excellent condition and drove wonderfully.
  
  Had a great time driving around Croatia! Would definitely rent from them again.
  
  One small side note, while their new office is being constructed in the city center they have a stall in the green market. Can be kind of hard to find if you don't know that in advance.

  Very good car rental service! It was a bit difficult to find the Dubrovnik Airport office but we asked some locals and we found it without problem. The car booked wasn't available but they gave us a higher car than booked. The Car (Suzuki Vitara) was brand new, clean and thoroughly checked by the personnel. The price was really reasonable and I would highly recommend them to everybody!

  Very good car rental service! Although I only rented the car a few days in advance, the contact was very good via e-mail. Once in Dubrovnik, everything was handled smoothly as well. The price was very good and we also had a free upgrade, thanks for that!
  
  The only minor thing is that we had to drop off the car and the key at the airport while there was nobody working, so I hope everything works out fine with that and we get our frozen funds on our credit card back, because we drove the car very carefully. To any doubting: get your car rental with these guys and not in the centre of the city! :)

  Would be a 5* rating but the office is very difficult to find, impossible if it wasn't for the help of some kind locals! Car (Suzuki Swift) was brand new, clean and thoroughly checked by the personnel. Navigation device was easy to use and it helped this place was much cheaper than local rivals!
  A very positive experience overall and would certainly recommend to friends (with directions on how to find them in their temporary offices!)
