Absolute rip off.
Staff are extremely rude.
They don't smile.
They have never learnt the word sorry please or thank you. Wonder if it is the attitude or lack of English as a language.
Property does not supply enough amenities.
Every single bit including water is charged for.
Not enough food options or customisations for vegetarians at all.
Air conditioning does not work properly. In fact creepily enough they have control for each and every rooms air conditioning at the main reception.
Will never stay back here or recommmend anyone to stay here.response / report this review -

Rooms are newly renovated and updated. Buffet breakfast menu has plentiful to choose from. The pool gives you an excellent picturesque seaview. Waiters and waitresses could be more friendlier for me to give it a 5 star.

Yes superb refurb pity there is still some building work going on at the back, should be completed in two weeks. We stayed at this hotel almost 4 years ago, really enjoyed both visits. Dubrovnik itself seems to be getting a little more expensive but Old Town still a splendid atmosphere and well worth a visit.

Nice clean hotel and the staff are very friendly. Meal times always had a good range of food on and they were usually quite good at replacing something when it ran out. We had a side sea view room which has a lovely view of the sea. Walls were good as we didn't hear our neighbors speaking once but the doors let in corridor noise so passing people late at night could be heard clearly (minor flaw).
Only reason for not 5 stars was corridor noise and the mattress was one of the hardest I have ever come across in my travels (I appreciate everyone's taste in a mattress differs) but I slept on the spare duvet which helped soften the mattress and the following day the maid remade the bed over the duvet which helped.

Lovely hotel in beautiful setting close to Dubrovnik. It felt great to escape busy downtown Dubrovnik and get back to our hotel after a days sightseeing. Great buffet breakfast and dinner.

One of the best hotels i have stayed at in 40 or so in travelling on business and pleasure. Value For money is great and the service given has been excellen. Top marks Hotel Argosy. Really hope to return.

Romantic setting, beautiful sea views. Great friendly staff who add little extras. Good food, updated renovated hotel spaces and rooms. Would stay here again

Great price, room was simple but clean and had a nice balcony overlooking the courtyard and out to the sea. Staff wonderful and breakfast was good quality.

If you take the right room with sea view it's really awesome. The service is at the lobby is great. The dinner buffet is nice and various. Nice pool and due to a bus line close to the old town.

Large hotel nice location but away from old town. Bus convenient to old town but can be very crowded. Fellow travelers had issues with reservations, arrival date a month off, having to switch rooms, billing errors. Expected better selection of food, buffet was adequate.

Hotel very large, clean & well presented. Pools & outside areas well maintained, staff pleasant. Quite disappointed with the room (140), sea view restricted and terrace only just big enough for table & 2 chairs - not worth paying extra for. Food good, drinks overpriced.

Pool area is cool with incredible views. Breakfast buffet has a great selection. Rooms look a bit dated. Staff super helpful. Has everything you'll need, bars, live music, spa, shops, gymShort walk to a few great locations.
