  I really love this place, from hanging out on the decks, swimming, snorkeling, sun tanning or scuba diving. It has a bar and restaurant and rooms to stay in. LOVE TO HANG OUT HERE!

  Utila Lodge is amazing. I went down for the 2 week all-inclusive diver package and could not have been happier! 3 boat dives a day, 3 awesome meals a day, lodging over the ocean, and they even do and fold your laundry.
  
  This is vacation as it was intended!
  
  With the P.A.D.I. certified Bay Islands College of Diving right on-site, it was impossible to pass up an advanced diver class. The instructors were fun and extremely knowledgeable. The class was very personal which helped to calm my nerves as it had been a few years since my last dive.
  
  This is the ultimate diving town that won't ever be over commercialized. There's no "Sandals" resorts and the "Disney Cruizlines" won't be stopping by here anytime soon. Utila is very popular amongst young dive professionals so you never feel like an outsider. Every bar on the island has a young person from Australia or Canada or Europe or where ever serving up drinks and having fun.

  This was my first experience as a SCUBA diver and it was amazing! The Lodge was so friendly and accommodating from the front desk, to housekeeping, to the Dive Masters, boat Captains and dive staff.
  
  Because I was enrolled in class with the Bay Islands College of Diving, my schedule was a bit off from the rest of my party who were already certified which meant I was going out on the school boat which also meant that my lunch time was off from the divers. As soon as one of the staff realized it (I never even thought to ask because I was so excited to learn to dive) I was asked what the kitchen could put together for me so I could eat early before my class boat went out for the afternoon.
  
  I appreciated the fact that someone noted the situation and worked to find a solution and help me out without me even asking! Above and beyond!
  
  The rooms were clean and comfortable and the food was great with a good variety of home cooked options. I think I had the best chocolate brownie ever at Utila Lodge! The diving was amazing with clear waters and a variety of critters to see though I have no other dive sites to compare this with. Even if you don't dive, this is a wonderful place to relax, explore, snorkel, horseback ride or just enjoy the sun!
