10/10. Great food, great service, amazing view. Not too expensive. It was perfect.
Great food , Great service , great view.. the perfect place to relax and have nice conversations with friends and familly.!!
We were docked at Roatan for a day on a Holland America cruise. We tend to go the opposite way of the throngs when the ship disgorges at a port-of-call. So, we rented a car, took a right and drove away from the main town and drove the length of the island. After poking around some rutted dirt roads and visiting a couple small seaside villages, we started to head back to the ship. We were looking for a place for lunch, but the main road that runs the spine of the island is pretty unpopulated. There was a road-side market that we stopped at. We asked some of the local folks where to go for lunch. They enthusiastically told us to go to Cal's. So, we drove back up the road 2 minutes and found Cal's tucked away back from the road. The dining "room" was a covered terrace overlooking a large valley. It was a wonderful, unpretentious place. We had the sea bass with salad and fries. The fish was perfectly done. We had a beer or two, relaxed, and had a slow lunch (we ate slow, the service wasn't slow) and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the view. This is not a place that many folks from a ship go to for sure. Definitely worth seeking out. Memorable experience.
This restaurant is very close to my home so we are frequent patrons. The food is some of the best, if not the best on the island. Prices are reasonable and the staff friendly. If you visit Roatan this is a must eat at place. Open Tuesday through Friday 10:00am to 8:00pm. Be advised, they don't take credit cards. They serve beer, wine and mixed drinks.
The food was great I ordered the spicy shrimp. My mother order the burger it was huge and my Grand daughter ordered a chicken sandwich everything was great. The service was excellent even though they were very busy and the view was amazing.
As usual 5* for ambiance, service, quality, price and value. Can't beat the view. An island tradition.
Went two time so far the view and the meal is just awesome! Thx
Awesome view but no credit cards though. Stayed for a drink and moved on. Accessible by route 1 bus.
This place was at the end of the road and from the outside I thought I hope they have a bathroom. Once inside, the little joint overlooking the island was the BEST! Best fish tacos, BEST lobster and BEST bottle of Coca Cola and I am a Pepsi girl. So rent a local guide, go up the mountain and enjoy the best if Isla Roatan!!❤
This restaurant is very close to my home so we are frequent patrons. The food is some of the best, is not the best on the island. Prices are reasonable and the staff friendly.
This place has excellent food, weird schedule but great food. Top Resturant on the island.
Cals has the best food on the island! And the best view.
Awesome food
This place is great, beautiful views, good food and great service
Took a friend there for her 50th birthday. Pricey but the quality is top notch, the portions are generous, the staff attentive, and the view unmatched. You definitely get what you pay for. Will return.
Wonderful view, good atmosphere, reasonable prices.
Quality food great location and service.
Cal's Cantina was really quite spectacular. The view is unsurpassed anywhere, and the food matched any high end city restaurant I've eaten at in the US or Europe. The weight staff was incredibly attentive, especially for an island restaurant. The prices were inexpensive by Roatan ex-pat restaurant prices. My son loved the Beef Stroganoff, my wife and I both had the fish fillet. Cal's magic comes from the sauces he puts on them, which are divine.
