Good place to drink - bad place to eat. We waited over 90 minutes for burgers and when they came, I had two bottom buns and no top bun and the others were over cooked. We went there the next evening for a drink though and it was fun to play pool.

Local bar with pool table and tv. Popular with ex pats. Good pizza. Noisy though because it's right on the main road. Good place to get to know the foreigners living on the island

I really didn't like this place the "locals" are infact all long stay tourist who drink here every day. Reminded me of a dingy sports bar in he US or UK. I didn't find the staff very friendly nor did we enjoy the food. I wouldn't recommend the chicken gumbo as its just an overpriced chicken soup not gumbo. And stay away from the bloody Mary's, worst Ive tasted.

I actually give this bar no star at all. We were told the wrong price for their Tshirt contest and treated unfriendly. We would not have gotten 4 of their bad tasting shots if we knew the real price. They try to rip you off.
Otherwise Utila is a very nice Island 👍🏼

Great atmosphere, good food, friendly service, pool table, good crowd. Only improvement would be to fix the toilet to the ground and maybe install an extra one - large queues for ladies.

Seriously the best food on the island.
The soft tacos are terrific. The pizza, made in actual pizza ovens, comes out perfect, every time. However, once you've had the deep friend flour tacos, you'll be hooked.

The locals bar. Fridays they have giant pot pies. The food is ok - I liked the crunchy taco in terms of price and freshness. Their challenge is crazy (4 shots of questionable rum + laps and spins). Be nice to the local dogs who wander in and out. Typically a game is on the TV.
