I've stayed in this hotel twice my first expiernce was okay, my second trip was unpleasant they have a kitchen which is open for the guests which i think is cool but the downfall is that I bought food and left it in the refrigerator when I woke up in the morning some one had already ate my food i dont know if it was a guest or a staff but this type stuff is unacceptable, the water is super cold and the rooms has no TV the staff was very friendly but the service not so much.

This hostel needs to have zero starts! We got here a couple of hours ago and then realized the sheets are all stained and nasty and there were ants in our bed and all over our night stand we complained and nothing was done! Will not he staying here ever again!!

The hostel is really beautiful, and they take very good care of it. The beds are comfortable, but the ventilation is bad and so it smells like a locker room.
The rooms are advertised as 7 dollars but it's 10+ tax, so we were slightly bummed out by that.
They also said we could do a free walking tour of Tegu, but when we showed up at 2pm, the guy told us he wasn't doing it after all. So we planned our day around that for nothing.
The guy who runs the place is very loud and a bit rude, and he thought it was hilarious to spray people with water at 7am before coffee. It's not funny mate.

$9 a night for a dorm. It's clean enough and the staff is very helpful. WiFi was good and they give free tours of the city. They sell fica bus tickets here, but it's still a good 20 min drive to the bus station. 16 beds in one dorm room was my main complaint.

The Palmira Hostel is a wonderful resource to find in Tegucigalpa! We recommend the hostel to our team members (we come in twice a year with medical/dental teams). It's spotless, spacious, has wonderful roof decks with hammocks and an incredible view of the beautiful night lights that surround the city. The security is excellent, the staff is warm and incredibly helpful. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need. Recently, I needed to host a family with young children who live in a remote area. We have been working with one of the children who needs continuing medical care. I am very grateful for the exceedingly kind and gracious hospitality given to our friends, and for all they did to make them feel welcome and comfortable. I was there every afternoon and enjoyed visiting with the staff as well as the guests. The owners went above and beyond as hosts, ofen giving me a ride home if taxis were not readily available. I can't recommend the Palmira hostel highly enough!
