Ignore all of the guides trying to get you to pay to go on snorkeling trips. All you need to do is go here! Amazing reef with huge drop off into the open water. So much to explore and entirely free and right off the beach.

Who needs to Scuba Dive when the Snorkeling off the beach is just as good!
Do not forget sunscreen on your back since you will not want to come out of the water for hours!response / report this review -

Great place to snorkel and very close to Black Rock for diving. Barracuda, lobster, lion fish, eel and beautiful Caribbean fish. Contact "Roatan Activities" for any gear you left or broke and also for any activities you want to book. Jet skis, parasailing, scuba diving, water taxi, glass bottom boat, beach massage, braids, deep sea fishing, snuba, fly boarding and jet pack. If you want to do it, they can schedule it.

You can see king crab, squid, lion fish and a plethora of beautiful fish by snorkeling. Some fish follow you and feed from your hand.
