Newly refurbished, clean and bright throughout. Staff are excellent, Serge in particular is incredibly friendly and helpful, he can direct you wherever you want to go! I've stayed here twice and send all my friends here. It's s trustworthy place in a potentially dangerous city.

I've stayed here many times on my way to or back from Roatan and it's always a great place to stay. With the new bar and refreshed communal areas, it is an improved stay now too!!!!

Clean, spacious and comfy beds with AC and good WiFi. Sergio made us feel really welcome and helped us a lot with booking our onward travel. Cool bar in the hostel so you can have a few drinks, but it closes at 11 so you can still get a good night sleep with no noise at all. It is also really secure and locked 24/7.

The staff here was super! Ready to help you with everything and anything - from transportation, tours, and what to do in the city. The hostel is spacious with lots of things to do, and places to hang out with others.

Excellent hostel and excellent service. Very laid back place. Rooms are very clean. I stayed at a private room and it's great. The manager is the nicest guy and he'll help you out with anything you need. Very close all types of restaurants, fast food, gas stations, there's a mall very close to the hostel as well.

Sergio was an amazing host! The hostel is spacious and very clean. The room and bed were comfortable at night and I got a great sleep. The other travelers are good company and very friendly! I look forward to coming back in the future.

Sergio and the other staff are amazingly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The hostel itself is beautiful, clean, and just a fun place to hangout and meet locals and other travelers. I can't say enough good things!!

I am always satisfied with the level of customer service and communication provided by the La Hamaca team. Right from booking to pick up all the way though to 'did you make it to your next destination?' - These guys are the best - because they care.
I'd had flights land an hour earlier, no problem, a taxi with my name was there within ten minutes to take me to the hostel.
Need 4am cab for that early bus ride? Easy! They've got you covered.
The rooms have enough space for backpackers AND their back packs.
The beds have actual matresses, comfy.
The linens clean and over all the property is safe.
There is a bar, a really fun bar but I have stayed on laid back Tuesdays and big nights such as Honduras V Australia in football and the bar always closes at 11pm so you can get a good nights rest before hitting the road again.

As a Hotel, I don't really know but the restaurant is good enough. Service could be improved, it always seems to me like waiters/waitress have no idea on how to get stuff

Clean and tidy. Bar onsite which is open to locals in the evening (mainly seems to attract a young crowd). Arranged airport transfers without issue. Reccomended

I've been staying at La Hamaca for 5 years now, and by far, the customer service is what keeps me coming back, and recommending it to all of my travelling friends. Recently, a group of 9 of us came, and Sergio got us taxis for 5 different flight times, with no hiccups. Then, of course, there's the pool table, extremely safe area (don't believe the negative press, if you're not an idiot, you'll be perfectly safe in San Pedro) and the eclectic group of locals that come hang out until the bar closes at 11. Rooms have always been clean, it's just an all around great place to stay. Highly recommended.

I have had a great stay here! After being sick for a few days Sergio took such good care of me! He took the time to call the doctor and get the medicine I needed to feel better! He went above and beyond to make sure I got better and had a comfortable stay. I more than appreciate the amount of care that went into my stay. I would highly recommend this hostel! It was also clean, friendly, safe, and the air conditioned dorm was great when it was unbearably hot out!

Definitely recommend this place. CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, AND GREAT SERVICE. I arrived late to San Pedro Sula airport from my flight. Taxi was on time and already there waiting for me. I went to the hostel for a few hours of sleep then back to the airport in the AM to rent a car Which the same taxi driver took me. Sergio was up and welcoming when I arrived. Awesome place! Beds are comfortable, room and bathroom clean, and coffee is yummy!

Sergio is the best. Stayed on our way in and out of town. Great service and local recommendations from the staff. Easy pickup to transport hubs. Everything was clean, clear and well arranged. Hostel had a fun social vibe, but still got a good night's sleep.

Undoubtedly the best hostel experience I've ever had. A very nice facility and the owner is a really fun person who will go way out of his way to help you out and make sure you have an enjoyable time in Honduras.
