I don't really give alot of reviews of places I've been too, but with the experience I received from this company I thought I would take the time to leave a review.

Took a cruise to the area and decided to do an off shore excursion outside of the excursions offered by the cruise line. I have dived once before and it wasn't the best experience. Was met by Bill when my father in law, brother in law and myself arrived at the dive shop. My father in law was padi certified but we were not. Bill walked us through the intro course and then took us into the open water to do some training.

And that's where things went south, I panicked in only 5 ft of water. Bill took the time to calm me down and he went over and above by allowing me to spend 45 minutes on the beach in shallow water to get me more relaxed and comfortable with the equipment and the diving experience.

Because of Bill's experience and excellent direction and reassurances I will be doing another dive excursion next time I'm on vacation

And if I were too return to Roatan again I would return to island dive centre in a heartbeat, and specifically ask for Bill as our guide.

Awesome guides and dive masters, comfortable and spacious boat, awesome captain. Some of the best experiences of diving in Caribbean.
Aside from coffee at the shop, water on the boat, the pineapple after the dive was a pleasant plus.

Ask for Stu to take be your guide, you will not regret!

I can't speak enough about the dive masters and the people in general. Bill has the patience of a saint so if you need someone understanding and caring of what you want to achieve then ask for him.

Best dive shop on the island. I've been diving with them for years and keep coming back.

Friendly dive center. 3 dives a day. Snorkelling welcome. Nice equipment. Small groups. Cruise ship visitors accommodated. Beginners to advanced dives. Night dives also.

This is a fantastic shop with a diverse set of personalities. I highly recommend the shop. Be warned. Culture here is very open. They toss all sorts of jokes. Stewart has a strong personality. Think typical football coach. If you have issues with tough personalities then go with Bill. All of them are extremely professional when it comes to diving.

They will make sure you have a safe and fun experience. Stewart is a wealth of knowledge. I personally loved both him and Bill. But given your preferences you may prefer one over the other. No matter what they behave like, they're all a bunch softies. You will not regret your time with them. Your can tell an establishment is great when everyone working is enjoying themselves but still professional at the same time.

The one thing I would advise is that if Travis contacts you and offers you to stay at Seascape resort, know that it is NOT a 5 min walk away like he says. Tish, his wife, was great. Gave me a complimentary Thanksgiving dinner and helped me get to the shop. However, as amazing as she and her family were, I generally prefer to be in a more alive part of the city. At least some where I could walk to a restaurant or at least catch a Taxi (and somewhere the taxi drivers know to take me back). I was considering giving it 4 stars because I felt that was unfair of Travis. That being said, this is a review of the shop. The shop was all I wanted. I made friends of the employees and my fellow divers. And the hospitality of Tish and her family deserves 5 stars. But I can't recommend Seascape unless you want to be away from the busy spots (in which case it's great) and get a scooter.

Friendly shop, 2 locations, small dive groups. All levels from snorkeling to Master Dive programs. Flexible and a pleasure to dive with. Whether you're here for a day on a cruise ship stop or for weeks you should consider Travis and his instructors. Gear updated often.

Travis is awesome! His setup is fantastic. We sauntered into his shop with no notice from a cruise ship and he set us up for 2 dives. . ask him about his week long stay and dive special. ..best deal in the Caribbean! I'll be back

We got 1/2 way certified on a Cruise Ship but wanted to get the open water certification and the guys (Travis and Paul) at Island Dive Center were the best. We got to the shop early and Travis set up everything we needed to complete for the PADI certification and Paul took us out to complete everything. They were very patient and made it an enjoyable experience. Also, the reef they take you to for your open water dives are amazing.

    We will be back again!

Travis and his team were excellent. We came in via a Cruise ship, Island Dive center picked us up and brought us back to the ship. Everything was taken care of. What I liked most all the equipment was included with the dive and the staff also transported it to the dive boat and back, we didn’t lift a cylinder. Just top notch fantastic service. My daughter finished up her OWD cert and my Son got in a few adventure dives to boot. We also were able to use our own air integrated computers with no problem at all, the staff took care of the connection to the first stage. Don’t book anywhere else.
