  Far removed from other tourist destinations, this sleepy little village is a nice day trip from Gracias. The church is largely unrenovated and locked up when not in use. If you ask nicely you might find someone to open it up for you (it's nice to tip). It's one of the oldest in Honduras, if not the oldest (circa 1671).
