The service here is very good, Gunther is very fun to talk to, lots of stories. The property is well taken care of and the fact that it is right on the Caribbean is really cool. Loved the food, rooms are clean and the prices are very reasonable. Sunday mornings are great because a local church is singing praises all morning in Spanish! Loved it!

Hotel Casa Alemania is one of two decent hotels close to the airstrip in Trujillo, Colon Department, Honduras. The staff is very nice and attentive to your requests. The food is good and the owners are adding new structures to the hotel including a brand new wing that opened in 2017.

Hotel caught on fire five times in my stay there all electrical fires, you can not flush toilet paper down the toilets, the food is sub par, the owner is a dink, room are full of mold, does not have backup generator for rooms and area has four hour scheduled power outages everyday. Spend the extra money and stay down the road at hotel Christopher Columbus.
