A historic Fort overlooking the city of Gracias, has great views of the city and host a gallery for cultural exhibitions

Great touristic experience! The fort is located at the feet of Mountain Celaque, Honduras' tallest peak. The fort has the remains of a former president, and lodges a museum and an artistic collection. Recommended!

Short and easy walk from the center of Gracias. You can see the scenery but it's not fabilous. Still you want to get here because there isn't much to see in Gracias. Foreigners entrance fee is Lps. 60.

Run-of-the-mill fort as forts go with some decent views (assuming the clouds have not inundated you). Probably the most notable part of the fort wasn't even the fort and the stone sculptures outside! Indeed, one should really go for those!
