I came to Honduras for a year to volunteer and have studied at Copán Spanish School two times. Before I didn’t know how to speak Spanish so I went to Copán Ruinas for six weeks to study at this school. Right away I got along with all the teachers and I was very excited to begin learning Spanish. This school has a nice family atmosphere between the teachers and students. I studied with Julia and she was an incredible teacher. I began with a review and after I learned all of the conjugations including subjunctive. After those six weeks I was able to maintain a conversation.
Six months later I was on vacation for two weeks and wanted to return to this school to continue studying. This school has given me what I needed to achieve my dream of being able to speak Spanish. Thank you so much to all of the teachers, I will always remember the experiences I had with you all. I have become good friends with all the teachers and we keep in contact. This is an excellent school and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their Spanish.

Yo vine a Honduras para ser voluntario por un año y he estudiado en Copán Spanish School dos veces. Antes yo no sabía hablar español así que fui a Copán Ruinas por seis semanas para estudiar en esta escuela. Enseguida me cayeron bien todas las maestras y estaba muy emocionado empezar a aprender el lenguaje. En esta escuela se vive un ambiente familiar. Yo estudié con Julia y ella fue una maestra increíble. Empecé con un repaso y después aprendí todas las conjugaciones incluyendo el subjuntivo. Después de seis semanas yo podía mantener una conversación.
Seis meses después yo tomé vacaciones por dos semanas y quería regresar a esta escuela para seguir estudiando. Esta escuela me dio lo que necesitaba para cumplir mi sueño de hablar español. Muchas gracias a todas ustedes, siempre recordaré las experiencias que he tenido con ustedes. Ahora ellas son mis amigas y nos mantenemos en contacto. Esta escuela es excelente y la recomiendo a cualquiera que quiera mejorar su español mucho.
