This was a good breakfast with very friendly service. Food takes a while because one lady is cooking it by herself out back. The kitchen is open-air, which might bother some people. I think you should pass on using the restroom, as it's basically a broken porta-potty on stilts with broken floorboards Very precarious and a bit scary to use. Be wary of drinking the water in Utila (this includes ice and coffee!) You can get very sick.

Very good food with good portions. Service is friendly and price is reasonable island prices. Fajitas and seafood pasta was excellent.

Good food. A little smell of sewer from the street.

We visited for Buccaneer's for lunch and there was one other table of guests. It was quite expensive, and although the burgers were good, they probably weren't worth all that. It took a VERY long time to get our food, and two people got their food 30 minutes after everyone else. Unfortunately, that's not an exaggeration. I'm glad we tried it, but we probably won't be back.

Ordered the taco salad. Portion very small but expensive.
Second time I ordered a burger. Waiter couldn't tell me the ingredients and just laughed (he was fluent in English though). Eventually, burger was dry and meat tasted funny.

    Overpriced, poor food, weak drinks

I ordered enchiladas (x2) but it was a very small portion. I left hungry. The quality was poor too. They add 16% to the entire bill for tax and then 10% onto the new total for tip.

    Never again.

I went here twice and enjoyed the food both times, the only issue is it can be quite pricey for what you actually get.

Still, the cheese fries were brilliant and there was plenty on the menu to choose from!

Cheap and tasty! The slow service without a smile was my only complaint.

Had no milk for the coffee the first time and we ordered two orders of French toast. One stuffed and one regular.
The regular want fully cooked so it was more eggy wet bread.
The coffee was okay although a bit cold.
I wouldn't have gone back but it was a friend's choice for breakfast so we joined him.
The crepes are enormous and I liked them. The eggs and potato were fine. The eggs a little over done.
Today and jam comes without jam or butter but I prefer it that way anyway.
The coffee was cold and expensive. Coffee is sold by the cup here and it's $1/cup.

My regular French toast and a coffee cost the same as my wife's stuffed French toast and coffee because apparently it comes with free coffee so I could've just had what she had for the same, arbitrary, price.

Had a good meal and a good drink at a fair price. They were very busy and it took 45 minutes to get our food but no one is ever in a hurry on Utila. It is now called The Buccaneer.
