I-m-ageplayground is established since 2013. We sees sharing and promoting film photography as the prime mission. We wish to inherit the root of photography and preserve the “art of analogism” in the digital age, which let the aesthetic of classical photography be appreciated from generation to generation.

The main business of I-m-ageplayground is films, film cameras and darkroom accessories retailing. We also provide darkroom equipment for rent for film processing and photo enlargement. More than that, the classes for film photography, film processing and enlargement are also held periodically. We wish to bring an enjoyable and complete experience of film from the moment of pushing shutter button till the final output of photo in the darkroom. For film processing, not just the manual black and white film process, our shop also provide workshops for manual negative(C41) film and slide(E6) processing which are rarely found in Hong Kong. We wish to find a sustainable way of enjoying film processing for the hobbist from now to future.

I-m-ageplayground also co-operates with several photo equipments companies such as Fujifilm, Impossible Project and Lomography. We hold the experience day of new cameras or film products to promote film and instant photography culture, which can inspire more and more creativity for analogism.
