位於大潭郊野公園(鰂魚涌擴建部分)的戰時爐灶遺蹟，是政府於第二次世界大戰前，由於預料將與日軍作戰而預先建造的，目的是供市民在戰亂期間作煮食之用。據說由於港島在數天內便已告失守，這些爐灶從來未經使用。

It is very quiet and peaceful here. If you are tired of the concrete jungle, this is the jungle you need! Singing birds, fresh air, lots of awesome trees.

這些體積特大的爐灶，是戰時積極備戰的遺物，但自建成後數天香港已經淪陷，所以從來沒有被使用過，成為香港戰爭中的遺跡
