Stunning views. Go early! Head to Victoria peak team station and take the tram up. Lines get crazy long later in the day. It drops you off into a mall (I know, more malls). The tram ticket gets you free entry to the viewing at the top of the mall. After the mall - go outside the mall (don’t take the tram back down) and take a hike up the hill to Victoria Peak! Halfway up is Victoria Peak Garden.

I loved the night view. The place was super crowded. Only 1 restrooms with 4 rooms available for women, so really long queue. Be careful of pickpockets! My friend lost her wallet just while taking photos!

This is the spot to go if you want gorgeous views of Hong Kong’s skyline. However, there isn’t anything up here aside from two malls with an unimpressive selection of stores. Two quick tips:
1. Take the bus up and the tram down (the bus is significantly cheaper and the tram will be like a roller coaster on the way down)
2. If you need to use the bathroom head to the mall across the way from the tram building unless you prefer toilets that are in the groundresponse / report this review -

The views are awesome. The Cable car trip up alone ones quite worth it. There is a lot of shops when you are up there from where you can enjoy the same view while eating and drinking.

Amazing viewpoint of the skyline of Hong Kong!
You should definitely check out this place, it is stunning at night.
There is also a nice light show at 8pm.
The place is really crowded so it's pretty hard to find a good spot for pictures.response / report this review -

Absolutely loved going up the peak and seeing the entire view of Hong Kong, from up top! The view is beautiful! I took a bus ride from Central Hong Kong to the peak, going up the peak is exciting experience, the roads that lead up to the peak are amazingly neat!

Did a sunrise hike to the top of Victoria Peak. It only took about half an hour or so, but well worth it! It was really fun to see the fog start to dissipate and watch the city slowly get illuminated by the sun and wake up. I highly recommend it!

Fear not If you decide to undertake the arduous road to the top of the peak. It’s quiet a hike but you can walk at your own pace. In any event it shouldn’t take more than 45 to 60 minutes. Most portions of the road have sidewalks until the last stretch where you may want to be extra careful and keep an eye for incoming traffic. Then the road will narrow and three will be stairs all the way to the top. The entire hike was fun for me and I did it well after the sunset under a full moon. There was very little of the road I could not see. Once at the top the view is amazing, specially at night time. Bring some snacks, something to drink and enjoy the cool view and the solitude of the peak.

We took the tram up, which is fast but also can be very very busy with tourists. Go early or later to avoid the crowds. A very cheap attraction with a gazillion dollar view at the top. Sky lounge is worth it to let the wind blow through your hair while enjoying the view. If you're craving an even higher view, follow Mt. Austin Rd up the mountain and take the steep path to the right when you can. Take the next right when the footpath forks, and follow for about 100m and climb the stairs and you'll have a pretty secluded place to yourself with a wonderful view, right near the radio towers!

Definitely visit for the view! I'm only taking off one star because the place is really touristic and very busy when I went. Irony being I'm a tourist of course but would have been nice with less shops perhaps. Good visit anyhow.
