  Overall the place is alright, what you would expect from an animal hospital. Nurses are friendly and the waiting time isn’t too long. However what I am most dissatisfied with is how much they promote and enforce neutering and spaying an animal. They REALLY want to, to the point I was asked multiple times during my previous visits if I would spay my dog. While there are benefits to the procedure, and most Hong Kong pet owners do not need to breed their pet(s), I find it absolutely absurd they would promote something they have no interest in informing you about it if you were an inexperienced pet owner. Not to mention IF DONE AT THE WRONG AGE, spaying increases the risk of hip dysplasia, torn ligaments, bone cancer, and urinary incontinence. Spayed females have a higher chance of developing cancer. Reproductive hormones offer some protection against cancer such as hemangiosarcoma, because spayed females are twice as likely to develop hemangiosarcoma of the spleen, and five times as likely to develop hemangiosarcoma of the heart, compared to unspayed females.
  Spaying changes the hormone and metabolism of the dog. Do they tell you this when they say spaying a dog is healthy? No. They just tell you it’s just healthy, and if you press on with more questions depending on the vet, they might give you the same vague answers a typical politician would.
  In my opinion if the owner does not want to spay their pet you shouldn’t nag them, this is not your business. And if you’re going to promote something irreversible you should lay out all the pros and cons to the owner.

  因呼吸有問題，去睇Dr Phixxxx,情況應該幾危急，問他什麼都不知道，話咩都有可能，心肝脾肺腎都有可能有問題。睇完xray報告又話佢都睇唔明，正常肺個位係黑色，但xray張片係白色，但話總之情況唔樂觀，他話可以抽肺裏面既野（可能有液體）驗，但風險大，抽要考慮清楚，而抽完可能好快又有，而淨係留院作用亦不大，有主人亦會選擇打針送佢地上天堂…

  I've had good service taking my dog here. The staff is very English fluent and can book an appointment without a long wait. Prices seem normal compared to other vets I've been to.
