A good place to explore science and the cosmos for kids
Don't go if it's cloudy.
We were here on the sequence of Hong Kong Scout 105th Anniversary Jamboree programs, conducted by Hong Kong Scout Association from 23-27 December 2016, on behalf of Indonesia Scout Contingent.
Disappointed Not well maintain Nothing interesting.. Paying 168 is too expensive
An educational spot. Good for those who interested to know more about solar.
A nice place
Need to own the entrance ticket of Noah's Ark before you can get into this Tower. There is no separate ticket sold to get into this Solar Tower.
Pros: quiet, secluded, surrounded by nature, quite near the beach, near a church, good food available, good supermarket located at the park island beach, excellent transportation.
Cons: quite far from the city, if you're looking for bustling HK city experience, noisy children and parents chattering about, small room with limited facilities. But overall, I am very happy. You get what you pay for and for a budget accommodation, this place is awesome :).
The attitude of the front desk staff was terrible bad or even unacceptable. I was just curious to know what would the inside look like. However, the staff were talking loudly to each other. When I was trying to ask about the information about the Solar Tower, they just replied with "You need reservation. That's it.". Then, they started talking again. No way, they didn't have appropriate communication skills.
Nice place to learn something about our space and the entire solar system!
