This bar has a beautiful view of Central Hong Kong. It’s worth to go up there for one drink, because it’s very pricey, because the view is awesome, all the buildings are lit up and you can watch the nightly light show from there. Cool place to have a pre-drink and chill with friends

Hit and miss. Dinner experience better than tea, but multitudes more expensive.

Tea set only just ok these days, a deterioration from their original creative and delicious beginnings. Service at tea usually careless and indifferent.

Dinner has some extremely tasty dishes. The dosas are best in class. Service is generally friendly and helpful, especially to high spending guests. On the expensive side vs overall quality.

On the plus side - rare hk restaurant that gets "wheat free" needs - flagging to people with celiac disease.

Lighting is ridiculously dark - when even the wait staff need torches to read the menu, you need to turn up the lights. What's the point of sending out beautifully plated dishes when colours are barely discernable. Decor is beautiful and in excellent taste. However, accoustics are awful. On some occasions we could barely hear each other as amplified noise from bigger groups nearby was so loud.

Terrace is very pleasant hang out area. Service is often off hand and inattentive, unless you're a regular, mini celebrity or otherwise exuding big spender vibes.

Subtle sense of 'you're lucky we let you in' throughout the meal, although dinner is better than tea from that point of view. This place doesn't lack for custom, is a great special occasion choice based on location, decor and reputation - and isn't afraid to let customers know it.

All the tables sit empty with reserved signs on, while everyone has to stand up to drink. I guess at any moment, several royal families, a film star and a famous band might arrive all at the same time and need those tables. If you like attitude and to be made to feel like a second class citizen, this is your place. It's ridiculously overpriced, welcome to Hong Kong, but what a view!

Food is okay.
But Do Remember to bring your best shirt and suit. All staff judges you by appearance.
Yea, spending a few hundred HK dollars may be too expensive for the waiters/waitresses themselves.

Went for afternoon tea with friends one leisurely Saturday afternoon. Sevva's offering was disappointingly average: don't get me wrong - some savory and sweet treats were outstanding, but others came across as plain, if not mediocre. Rating was average because of poor service (had to chase after the staff to get some service) and the plain-vanilla tea selection (a visit to Seven Eleven could have given you more options).

Such a beautiful night view. The cocktails were OK, it wasn't bad but nothing special compared to the view. I'd recommend ordering a wine or whisky. I did have a wonderful time here though and will be back!

we had a drink there ( lychee mojito) and it was really good! the view is breath taking and the atmosphere is really nice ( thanks to the music band). the barman was really nice we asked for a cocktail that wasn't on the menu and he did it anyway. it is a very good place to have a drink

3.5 stars for the honey comb cake! - Update - Just found out the honey comb cake is not even their own, it is bought from outside - loses a star.
3 stars for the quality of drinks
2.5 stars for quality of service
2 stars for food - over priced and average

I came here with my friend to celebrate her birthday . I ordered a cake specially for her as it looks great in photo .

Unfortunately , the candybeads in the cake broke my teeth. Yes my teeth was cracked and broken after chewing the beads in the cake!

The beads in the cake were very hard. Which I have just found that if u type in Chinese" Sevva hard cake - Sevva 蛋糕硬" u can see people were complaining about how hard was the cake. I was unlucky that I did not check the reviews before. And I maybe the most unlucky one who have my teeth broken in Sevva .

I hope you won't follow my path, if you have a chance to read this review, please re-think : should u go to Sevva and bare the chance of broken your teeth.

Honestly , as a Hong Kong people, you can get a much better cake elsewhere. Why here? The taste is not special. Many places offer better cakes.

The worst was the manager Antony did not say sorry to me when I talked to him politely and suggested that they should remove the beads of this cake in the future .
But he said to me in front of my friend , " this cake was in the menu for many years, maybe it's the problem of your teeth. Not the cake."
When u are paying around us 100 for a small small cake. Do u expect this service?
The manager waived the cake charge without sorry but gave me a terrible attitude . I was pissed !

I did plane to sue them in the restaurant when I made the complain. But now I change my mind.

Guess what their insurance company replied .
1. There is no abnormal hard object found in the cake?
I called sevva and asked , they said that mean no outside hard object. The candy bead need to be send to lab and identify it as " hard " but they may not do it!

2 . Sevva and their insurance co claimed:?No similar case happened before. ??? I was like , huh ? So this is not their responsibility ? Is that a joke? Can my case be the first case? So never happened before means won't happen and means it's not their responsible ?

3. No one complain the beads are hard before according to the restaurant . I guess they have never read reviews of their own restaurant . There are tons of commands about how hard the bead was in the cake in Internet included tripadvisor , openrice , or many difference blog or website .

When u wanna come to Sevva, be prepare that the service is suck! And in case anything happen. They may say to u as they said to me," it's never happened before, maybe it's your problem "

I recommand u do not eat in any places that is not willing to take responsible and care their customer!

Paying five stars price and getting terrible food and service. Is this worth?

I wrote ton of reviews in tripadvisor . Trust me! I am a trustworthy reviewer.

Such a shame this place used to be great before it became Sevva. It's now obserdely pretentious and has no atmosphere. The 'strict' dress code allows 'designer' sweat pants and white trainers but prohibits smart shorts. Ridiculous. Won't be going again

Awesome terrace. Which makes the presence of the poor bar crew even the more poignant. This crew clearly doesn't understand the art to complete this fantastic place. That makes the hefty food and drink prices downright unbearable. Concluding with the good news: there is enormous room for improvement.
