The School of Optometry (SO) 眼科視光學院 is a part of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Established in 1978, the School runs Hong Kong's only degree programme in Optometry for professional qualification as optometrists.
Our mission is to undertake cutting edge research, and the teaching of the highest academic standard in optometry, and to contribute to promotion and delivery of high quality vision care in Hong Kong.
The School is currently offering a BSc (Hons) in Optometry, MSc in Optometry and Doctor of Health Science (Optometry) (DHSc).
