It’s an amazing place. We recommend Cable car ride, ocean express train, the flash, ocean park tower, panda visit, marine aquarium.
One issue was there’s no drinking water available anywhere unlike in India where we get this in all imp tourist spots.

Go at your own risk.
Do not bring your old folks there. Staff at Cable Car station refused to stop the cable car when alighting. Another staff pushed me around when attempting to manage the queue. I will be informing the press about it to warn others to take safety into their own hands instead of relying on the staff.

You need a whole day to complete this park and some good walking shoes because you are going to walk a LOT. I would suggest you go to your most wanted rides first because the rides close at 6PM even if the park is open until later. Also, the snack stalls at Old Hong Kong close around that time, so you might want to grab your snacks before then. We had the best time at the aquarium and the rides in thrill mountain. I would also advise to bring extra clothes or a raincoat if you plan to ride the rapids (I forgot the name, sorry)

This place is amazing and has a lot of awesome rides and shows that you and your family will enjoy of.

I highly recommend this place for family bonding because kids will definitely love it.

I love the short roller coaster here because it’s the only ride that I can handle of and also like the train with submarine concept that used before entering the main area of Ocean Park.

The park is a must for animal lovers and thrill lovers. Put on your walking shoes because this park is HUGE.
What took my breath away was the amazing view. The Ferris wheel and the cable car are a must try purely for view of the surf. It is to die for!
The park is open for lesser hours than Disneyland. So keep this in mind when visiting.

With the rail reaching entrance quickly, it is easier to visit the Park. Unfortunately, the attractions are not renewed by year. So not much surprises. Still it is a very nice place to relax and spend a day in a busy city.

Ocean Park is a great way to spend the day riding fun rides and checking out all the different animal exhibits. We bought our tickets online (a third party website) and saved a few bucks making it even more worth it. :) The roller coasters are all a blast and there are some of the most amazing views scattered all around the park. We really enjoyed ourselves and you will too!

Marine-themed Aquarium x Zoo x Amusement park very famous among local residents and visitors, rivalling only with Hong Kong Disneyland in terms of popularity. A wide variety of rides for both thrill and pleasure seekers. Impressive menagerie too, featuring rare and unique fish, birds, mammals, reptiles, and mollusks from around the world. A one-day visit is most likely not enough to enjoy all the rides and exhibits. Go for two days for the full experience.

This place is real big. When you enter you'll take a cable car up to the summit to get to the fancy and fearsome rides. There are six areas in the park total. Splurge on the fast pass, if only to skip ahead on the cable car line - this line and these cars move slowly. Great selection of animal life - catch the dolphin show. Also a VR roller-coaster. Fast pass will get you in like 8-10 of the rides ahead of others, one time each ride. Definitely worth the trip overall here, was a ton of fun to be on a big roller coaster on top of a mountain.

This is truly a theme park that has something for everyone. There is just so much to see and do, from the amusing to the heart stopping, to the educational or romantic. Very well-managed too with fine crowd controls. Even when the park is full of tour groups, you don’t feel overwhelmed and attractions are easy to reach and enjoy. In every way, lives up to its claim as Hong Kong’s premier theme park. IMO, a must visit for every tourist to Hong Kong.

Lots to see and do. Our little one loved the shark tank and penguins in particular. I would recommend getting there in the morning (though most attractions open at 11am) as it gets crazily busy in the afternoon. We went on Monday so it is probably even busier at the weekend! Not the best for wheelchair access or if you have heavy strollers

Good to spend whole day with small children. You can enjoy both as amusement park and aquarium in one place. So many attractions both for adult and kid. Needs more food service station.

Cable car amazing. One decent rollercoaster and one fun drop type ride. A lot of it was closed, food not good. Small very average park in possibly the most beautiful location of any theme park anywhere

An attraction park on a mountain with a bonus cable car ride to reach it. Bonus zoo and aquarium. No other park I've been to quite lives up it in terms of concept alone, therefore: arguably one of the best ever (rides-wise? definitely not the best ever and somewhat underwhelming considering the long waiting lines for each). You will get spectacular views if you're here in the evening and the weather happens to be great, though. Worth it.

I might be getting old, cause this was not my thing. The main attraction: Standing in line waiting for every attraction for 45 minutes or more. It wasn't a particularly crowdy day, but all the procedures surrounding the attractions were super inefficient. All the rides seemed to last for less than 2 minutes, so you use most of the day standing in lines. There are few attractions for kids under 120cm in height, so the park is best suited for a bit bigger kids. The Pandas don't like all the noise from the loud tourists, so I would recommend going to the Pandas either very early or late when there is not that much people around.

Nice for a day out. Large place good views. Very expensive food and drinks, same old same old. The rides are good but not really that scary. Was a bit disappointed that one of the main thrill rides was closed that day.

Otherwise a nice day out and you get to see the various marine life

Been there today for the Halloween fest 2017. Atmospheres were great. All the ghost around you, they are everywhere. If you are planning to go there it is more convenient to take the MTR south island line. Fast and comfortable.

The park has great rides specially for big kids and adults. No much rides for the young children. The design of the park make it hard to go to all rides. This made mad upset during my visit specially the park closes early.
Don't go in the summer season. The humidity kills the joy of playing with the rides and walking to enjoy your time there.

I went there in May 2012 with my siblings, my parents, my nephew & nieces, my mother-in-law, and of course with my wife and kids and it was an unforgettable experience.

Ocean Park Hong Kong has a lot to offer for everyone and one day would not be enough to try it all.

The whole family can be amused by the shows and their huge exhibit of marine life. The young and adventurous can try their various rides which range from 'safe and entertaining' to 'extreme and crazy' (the best I and my kids had was the Hammer and the Extreme Roller Coaster nearby). There are also a lot of food outlets to choose from and novelty shops where you can buy your souvenir items.

One thing to note though is that the place is really big so you need to get a map upon entry or you'll spend most of your time moving in circles trying to find the attraction that you want. :-)

Good theme park with some stand-out attractions, such as the jellyfish exhibits (Summit side) and the new aquarium near the entrance (Waterfront side).

Generally speaking, it's good for younger children at the Waterfront side, and for teens / young adults at the Summit side, with thrill rides such as a roller coaster perched on the side of a steep mountain. It is amazing scenery, and an exciting setting.

If you don't want to queue for the cable car that joins Waterfront to the Summit, you can take the train that goes in a tunnel to the top. The views are worth it though, so try to take the cable car one way at least.

There are a few things that let the park down. First, the sign posting is poor and we found the lack of signs frustrating. Also there is very little sun protection in the form of trees or shade sails around open areas and paths. Last, those views come at a cost - It's very hilly at the Summit side - must be a great workout for the parents pushing prams! No surprises about the food - it is unremarkable and expensive.

The new MTR train station right at the park's front gate is very convenient. It's only about 15 minutes from the park to Central.

I really enjoyed going to ocean park. I loved the rides, and the grand aquarium and the jelly fish exhibition were spectacular. The reason I gave it four stars is because the sign postage is awful. In some of the exhibits we saw we had to ask people, look around, and look again. Some didn't have a single sign apart from the one at the entrance!

A place with full of wonders and thrill. No matter on which age of group you're, if you never visited Ocean Park Hong Kong. You really missed a place of wonderful entertainment. I love to visit there always especially during Halloween party.

Very entertaining and interactive! Being a native English speaker and not knowing how to speak Chinese, I was very hesitant about going here, but quickly found that a fair number of the staff spoke English, and navigating around the park was not difficult at all. Each exhibit was very well done, and my family and I had a wonderful time. My only regret was that we didn't have more time to see all of the exhibits before they closed.
