Nice mall and shops. They can speak English also. The bus station is downstairs and subway is towards the front. Little options for food though. Not that many restaurants for such a huge space.

Lovely shopping mall! With a Snoopy land that's great for kids! they have a really nice baby facility for changing and feeding babies! Only down side is this place is bloody PACKED with people!

Another boring ladies shopping center. Had to walk all the way to end to find a toilet which has limited cubicles and always full as located near the minibus street. The only shop i liked is the victorinox shop near the top (fetish for Swiss army knives) as they sell the nail clipping one with scissors and knife for 290 hkd (over 400 for wooden version} . I always buy a few for my friends back in Australia. There is a Snoopy world for a few pictures.

I should mention there is an airport bus stop right below this place and it is fast and much cheaper than taxi. I managed to get on a bus around 4am there. Found the lower luggage racks were all full so had to lift my massive suitcase to top rack.

There is minibus direct to Tsuen wan but operates after 10am

There are lots of pharmacies which are packed, especially the Mannings, i suspect people buying vitamins to take back to China.

Now, if you want to have a nice walk, you can walk out of new town plaza on level 1 and walk along the level 1 walkway all the way past a few housing estates to various shopping malls and across the river. It will take you a good few hours to go there and back. Or take a bus from New Town plaza to the end shopping center and walk one way.

Too crowded on weeekends. Since Sha Tin is close to the Chinese boarder, expect a ton of day tourists from the mainland who walk around with suitcases.
There's the usual no of shops you find everywhere, Uniqlo muji etc.
The only reason I come here is for the nice city super. Supermarket that has ready made food and lots of international products.

New Town Plazas are the newest malls in this area,near the Shatin city hall. It has all the top brand stores imaginable, accessible directly from the Shatin metro station. This is a shopping hub for out of town shoppers, so expect big crowds with luggages, especially in weekends. Lots of restaurants, washrooms and bridge connections to other malls in the complex. Not much sitting area, but may be that is by design to encourage fast circulation.

So Many people come here for shopping, especially around Chinese new year time frame Very Very crowed, you cannot even walk for a straight line, really cannot enjoy shopping, or even walking in this mall i have only stay for a while for a quick dinner, and then leave. Really not that comfortable Sorry

A good mall but opens late. It's almost 11 am but many of the stalls had just their door only half open, not ready to serve customers like me. Even I wanted to shop, I wasn't able to do so because we needed to go to the next place of our tour.

It's very crowded. Lots of mainlanders with suitcases. Years ago it used to have many affordable shops, but nowadays it's mostly high end shops and popular chains. Better go outside new town plaza to shatin plaza or lucky plaza instead since they are connected and only a few minutes walk away.

Connected to the railway from the Chinese border to the Kowloon peninsula. This is the first big shopping mall for upscale goods when coming from China. The place is visited (overrun?) by mainland Chinese who come for shopping day trips. Many shops cater to the needs of these mainland Chinese, who bring their own culture with them. There are many chain shops for fashion, outdoor activities, white goods, electronics, shoes, leather goods, cosmetics and such.
Mobile phones, novelty goods, services (laundry etc.) can be found in three connected simple malls to the left (when coming from the train station). Ample choice of restaurants covering many Asian cuisines. Not the fine dining variety, but solid fare that does not need high skilled chefs on the premises.
Plenty of lifts, escalators, toilets and a parking lot. Close to IKEA. There are two bus hubs connected.

It's pretty busy and is targeted towards Chinese shoppers. If you want more traditional HK things, go to Central or Kowloon. There are quite a bit of restaurants in the Plaza and they are pretty good.

Huge shopping center, you can’t miss, right off the train station. Top levels have the best restaurants. Movie theater also in the back of the mall.

Good sized mall with variety of shops and popular restaurants at the premise. There is an MTR and bus station located right underneath. The mall also links with several other plazas such as Citylink and Hilton.

Bought a computer here. A little bit pity the coffee shops (including Starbuck) opens at 10am. Would be great if they can make it earlier like 7am.. The Peanuts park is good but nothing too attractive.

There are a lot of different shops, almost all you need is here. In this period is under renovation all the baby and kids shop, so if you need clothes for kids is better Kowloon Tong

Shopping mall is very spacious with a wide variety of shops and restaurants . There is a car park and spending at the mall gives free parking. Being in the center of Shatin town, locals love to wander around here as their pastime and a place for everyday shopping.

It's nice place to hangout with family and kids. Several options to enjoy shopping, western and Hong Kong food. Snoopy Themed Playground, a must place to visit with kids.

Fantastic shopping centre that has got everything one needs:Shops, restaurants, supermarkets, department stores, banks, etc. It has easy and covered access to the railway station and bus terminals as well as all neighbouring shopping centres. It is fully air-conditioned. Very well located but car parking could be a problem though.

its one of my favourite coz it is just outside the MTR station and it is connected to 4 to 5 shopping malls with shelter so it is a great place to shop. There are different shops to cater different class of people, but you wont find very high end brands like LV, Gucci there. It is a very busy shopping malls with many mainland tourists.

Biggest and main shopping mall in Sha Tin. It has all the usual big chain brands and a lot of options for food as well. Very accessible via public transport via bus and trains. Has good free wifi throughout the mall.

The Lucky Plaza 好運中心 and Shatin Centre Shopping Arcade next door, linked by direct bridges, has more local shops as well as cheaper restaurants and food stalls.

Big shopping mall with almost everything under one roof. Lots of recognized and popular name brand shops and restaurants. There are possible whole sections or even a whole floor for electronic appliances, restaurants, sportswear, and more. There is the large new Apple Store. Prices are on the high range. It is very crowded on weekends, all holidays, and Chinese Holidays. It is on top of a train station and also there are the bus terminals, so it is super busy to the point you can not walk without being bumped or bumping into others. This mall is connected to 3 or more other malls, so if you do not mind the large amount of walking, you can spend the day. There is the Snoopy Land for the kids. Just outside is the public library.
