The best terminal in Hong Kong International Airport
It's a short train ride away, to the gates numbered 200+. It's less crowded of course, but to me the convenience factor is not the same as the main terminal. This terminal is more so for mid tiered budget flights. The rest are at gates 500+, which can be really quite pathetic.
New people mover train makes accessing this concourse much easier now. Clean restrooms. Sparse food options for now.
An amazing looking concourse, it is also very convienient for people. It has roofs looking like waves, it is fantastic.
Weird terminal, what a joke, should be called "the isolated low cost terminal". The only way to get there is by airport shuttle bus, where you have to board them on the ground floor of T1's restricted area. It takes you much time to reach the terminal because of long queues and the long distances between T1 and the Midfield
There are limited shops and restaurants, very inconvenient if I wanna go back to T1
It is sparkling new. Unique ceiling. Only has two restaurants and two cafés.
It's quite easy to get there, but there's nothing to do at midnight flights.
It's great, but remember to go to Computer Stations for charging and internet services in midnight.
Tip:The Last Automated People Mover train leaves at 1a.m. If you missed it, you'll need to take buses to get there, but delay is expected on buses.
It is far from check in counter and custom, so please reserve enough time to go to your boarding gate
Beware, there are no convenience stores, only a Starbucks and a Pacific Coffee that open at 7.
Brand new airport concourse opened in 2016 after multiple delays, everything is brand new, but it's quite far from the terminal, reserve extra time getting to the gate,
