I would dare to say, food and service was better than Tang Court.
Delicious Cantonese restaurant located in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The atmosphere is great and the food excellent. Perfect for the vegetarians among us too with a special vegetarian set course dinner. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Be aware that the restaurant has few spaces, so a reservation is highly recommended.
Man Wah has great Panoramic views of Hong Kong from the 25th floor of the Mandarin Oriental. Food was excellent and perfectly executed. The highlights of their dishes are the Dim Sum and the Peking Duck. The ambience has traditional and antique Chinese decorations.
Our experience at Man Wah was fantastic. The decoration makes you feel in a high-end Chinese hall with a beautiful view to west Hong Kong. We had the Peking duck as main, which was perfect, plus a few recommendations from the waiters. The food was really special. The service was also very friendly and attentive. We paired our food with oolong tea, which was also a great choice. Highly recommended.
Superb Chinese. Cosy and chic, good views and the legendary Mandarin Oriental service.
Great Panoramic views of Hong Kong from the 25th floor of the Mandarin Oriental. Food was excellent and perfectly executed.
Pricey but exquisite Chinese food
Lovely view
Seafood fried noodles are ordered per person. Delicious but not for the budget minded:)
Lovely restaurant, wonderful atmosphere and impeccable service, and of course, the quality of the food was top notch. Best sweet and sour pork I've ever had !!
Love their private room with lanterns. Food is flawless.
The owner should jump from his 25 floor restaurant. ;)
Food was good. Restaurant was nice. View was great. Service was quick and attentive. But I expected more. It's the mandarin oriental and I was expecting an excellent experience. We had a good experience instead (8 out of ten so 4 stars out of five). Our waiter spoke an incredibly broken English, I could barely understand him and most of the time I had to ask him to repeat and I could sense he didn't really enjoy repeating the same thing twice every time. Our table was kind of boring and just had an insignificant tiny plant which looked kinda pointless. Frankly I would replace that with something else. The table looked cheap and lame. This is a five star hotel. I'm not expecting anything absurd here. And it was just too dark despite the fact we were very close to the window. The fried rice was incredibly boring. Dim sums were good tho. Good experience, but I had lunch at the mandarin oriental in Geneva, Tokyo and other cities. And it was a better experience in other places. My experience in Tokyo for example was excellent. Here it was good. Time to improve to add that extra star.
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent setting.
One of the best dim sum ever, if you ever want to do a testing on Chinese dim sum. Everything was just perfect lobed every moment of it.
Excellent service & food & atmosphere
