Best curated department store in HK. Their buyers have impeccable taste and an unerring eye for the next trend. Ecletic mix of styles and moods. Great place to seek inspiration even if you don't buy.
Sky high prices but at least here it's about taste and character, not nouvelle riche bling. Classiest place to shop in HK, if you have money to burn. For those on a budget, just come browse. It's a fun place if you can get your mind round what some people are willing to pay for uber luxury goods.
Large boutique clothing and lifestyle store with mostly high-end and luxury items. Lots of curated items and unique offerings. A bit understaffed due to the late footprint. Overall a pleasant place to shop.
I've been debating for a couple of days about whether or not to write this, as I never leave reviews, but I felt I needed to because it was the worst shopping experience I've ever had. I went to the LC Beauty in IFC last week, and dropped by the Hourglass counter. I was looking for a very specific product, but remembered the name incorrectly. From that moment on, the Sales Assistant became extremely condescending. Saying "we don't have ___" without nothing an alternative, also saying that maybe I was "thinking of a different brand, we are Hourglass."
The whole time I was trying the product, she didn't even try to help, only looking at me with her arms crossed. I felt humiliated, completely patronised, and shamed to the point where I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. Since I did plan on buying the product for a while, I did leave with it and went home to try it on only to discover that she'd given me the wrong shade. I'm not sure if it was intentional, and it was partially my fault for not double checking the shade, but I do find it strange that it was so off - not even close to my skin tone.
All my other experiences shopping at LC has been fine, but I've been VERY turned off by this experience. No one likes being talked down to, especially when I'm positive that I went in with the right attitude. Not once was I rude to her. I suppose my "mistake" was to appear like a newbie. A wasted HKD 540 is bad, but leaving feeling like I'm not good enough to shop there was 100% worse.
Top of the top department store
just the place to find your expensive stuff.
Nice inventory
Decent handbag and shoe collection.
Nice department store that sells brand names at marked up prices.
The best mall in HK for branded an stylish selection of sometimes unique items and never seen before shoes or clothes.
Definitely worth going, a must see for tourists and business travelers.
Also good restaurants and coffee shops here.
