IKEA in Shatin is situated in Home Square. It is spacious and has a variety of products suitable for everyone. The staff is courteous and helpful. I have aways enjoyed shopping there.

Plenty of things to shop for your home decoration. There are fast food line as well as restaurant in which having a good price performance. When you are tired at the end, you can a valuable price drink and hotdog.
You can a whole day when you are looking for every detail. Some items will give you an inspiration for home design such as wonderful lights and interesting curtains.

Very tiny compared to other countries’ IKEA stores, the low ceiling on 6th floor just makes me uncomfortable, really hard to get a seat in the restaurant. Weekends and holidays are always crowded if not chaotic

The restaurant is always overcrowded and long queue for food order and table, but the price is really reasonable and tasty. Love their meat ball and turkey breast for dinner.

Huge selection at basement prices. Pleasant showrooms with a cafe that is superb in its own rights. It is not an accident that IKEA so dominates the furniture/homeware scene.

Having paid and left the checkout to get to the car park with a very full trolley, we were told we could not leave the store (with the trolley) unless we paid either HKD600 deposit or left our HKID Card before we would be allowed to take the trolley to the car to load up. This is absolutely ridiculous and I would suggest, Ikea establish a trolley Park in the car park for customers to return their trolleys. Shame on you Ikea. A very poor customer experience, we will never return to that store.
