Nice seating. OK service. Seafood fresh and cooking meet expectations.
Went in the morning for dim sum.
Was quite busy so had to share a table (2*2)
Was chaotic to pick up the food! The process is that you take the table card to a table where everyone chooses from the current selection of dishes available at that moment! More (of the same or different - who knows?) dishes as brought out as and when. Then a mad rush to choose them begins again!
Fun for novelty value but not regularly.
The good side of this method of serving is that the food was nice and hot as it had just been cooked.
Best place to eat seafood fresh. Highly recommended to go with a local so as not to be charged heftily for a feed. We came with our tour guide and insisted he join us for supper. Worked out we couldn't finish our order anyhow. If there is still room for desserts, just walk down the main road, there is a famous place to satisfy any fussy sweet tooth.
My usual place to eat in Sai Kung, major reason is ease of finding seats and short walk from the golf course parking lot. Food quality average and consistent, service depends on time of day, you find interesting staff with an attitude during daytime dim sum hours. Evening mostly pleasant, crowded during major festivals and holidays, you can sit outside nearer to waterfront if you don't mind the weather and occasional heavy smokers. Be prepared for a more expensive meal if you order fresh seafood.
Been to this place many times but not lately. This was the first time coming here for brunch /dim sum. Food is so so but what was disappointed with the seafood we ordered. The fried calamari came out soft and cold and when I informed the staff, they just shrugged it off. I guess they don't really care about their customers that much due to the prominent location they have and they only worked hard to solicit people to sit down and eat there. Won't be coming back anytime soon.
Reasonable price, fair food quality
Not good for value any more at least for set menu. Not the freshest seafood. Used to be great value
Fresh and relatively mild(not salty) seafood, great service. Plus nice view from outside seats!
A bit pricey, but very good quality and service!!!
Worst seafood restaurant in my lifetime. Brought my own prawns to cook and they mustve exchanged it for a cheaper shrimp because it shrunk to half the size! Never had food at such a dishonest restaurant. Tourists and locals beware!
This is a good place for taking traditional dim sum and seafood at competitive prices.
I recommend this restaurant for anyone who want to taste good food at reasonable prices.
Nice service and good affordable seafood.
Good food reasonable set meal prices
Good for out of town visitors. A bit over priced, but a nice way to enjoy Sai Kung waterfront.
staff not so friendly, prices higher than other restaurants around, felt as a foreign to pluck more than a customer to pamper
If you are a seafoods lover...this chinese cuisine restaurant are highly recomended.
You can choose on their own wet market the food you would like to it and they will cook it for you.
Just to remind, that they served a tea in bowl not for a drink but just to wash your hand purposes.🙌🙌
I will not recommend any one to visit it. We bought crab, clams, shell and lobster in the restaurant, but they still charge us extra cooking cost for each of sea food we brought from them! Usually, this is not happens in other restaurants in the same area.
They are not honest to run their business! It is not a restaurant you can rely on! We bought live crabs , after their cooking , the crabs were smaller and the taste was like frozen crab meat! We are not expert on sea food, but meats and your mouth tell everything!
I HIGHLY SUGGEST NO ONE SHOULD VISIT THIS RESTAURANT! YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY.
Dont forget to try the local "lai liu ha." It is a large crustacean that eats like something between a huge prawn and a lobster tail. A must try if you love seafood!
