Great University, Free Entrance for Any one! But some parts of the university are in a forest, there will be a risk of dangerous animals there. At level LG7(not in any forest), The is a big flat land with grass. If you are hungry after all the playing, there is a big canteen! It doesn't require student cards. There is also a ParkNShop (Now Renaimed As "Fusion")Supermarket next to the canteen and it is next to the lift. there is a McDonald's at level LG5 at academic building. There is also a Carpark for visitors. It is from Level G-LG6 (Excluding LG2), but if you have bulky items, I don't recommend you to come to this Carpark because the lift doesn't stop at all levels, so you have to walk up the fire stairs to the lift level and plus you need to walk to the lift because you need to take the lift to exit at LG7 (The lift doesn't stop at Level LG7, so you need to take the lift to LG6).There Is Also A Prking Lot Near The Canteen At LG7.This Place Is also in the top ten places that tourist needs to come!!😀😀😁😁

Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is a real abode of knowledge. It is amongst the best educational institutions across the globe. It has a lovely campus spread over an area of 60 hectares. HKUST has world's best faculties from different nations. It has achieved many feats till date and is aspiring for greater milestones to leave a trailblaze for others to follow. I am sharing this information because I have myself experienced the joy of visiting the campus and learning more about it.

Amazing views all around the campus. The food quality isn't the best, but it's very cheap. The professors are good, and the students are friendly. There is no MRT stop, but you can be at one in 10 minutes with a minibus. Inconvenient to go downtown. Overall a great experience

An university with amazing view, you can smell the sea on the entrance, also the transportation is not bad at all. What's more, it's QS ranking is already beyond HKU's.

Extremely bad design of the building and structures. Extremely dirty and messy corridors. There are constructions with dusts and rubbish around the corridors all year round and I mean it when I say "all year around". The load of litters/stuff in the corridors has never been taken care of even once during my stay here. Indoor environment kills all the experience in this university.
Bad food quality even for local Chinese students. There is almost no options for foreigners and only two choices of salad. I love the Chinese food but the Chinese food in this university is of lowest quality I have ever seen. The choices are very limited if you want a better quality food.
The toilets and their cleaning are a nightmare. The cleaning is very poor for all areas namely, bathrooms, labs, corridors.
The air conditioning system is totally insane because inside the labs are so cold that I had to wear gloves for several months in the lab during the winter.
