It was a bar with a rooftop terrace and great harbour view perfect for tourists. The Eyebar was an extension of the Michelin star restaurant南海一號Nanhai No.1, so it was convenient to kill two birds with one stone.

The drinks there were not expensive, and the service was in general good.

The service was horrible. The servers were extremely rude. The server was pretty impatient when taking our orders and gave us a feeling that he didn’t want us to be there. It felt very unwelcoming as if they wanted you to leave immediately and we could tell the server hated his job 100%. The drinks were so overpriced and we really didn’t understand how they could treat their customers like this at such a high end place. It’s not like this is the only roof top bar in Kowloon. There are other ones as well with much better service. We will never go back again.

The view is nice, but disappointed by the $25 charge for peanuts plus 10% service charge. The peanuts were stale and moist. We didn't know about these until receiving our check, and the server didn't care about my concerns. These are misleading business practices. Wait staff was also generally pompous, which is likely a reflection of management. We finished our overpriced drinks and left. We finished the night at Delaney's Pub nearby, which has better service, cheaper drinks, and no ridiculous table fee.

Ridiculous standards of dress not even advertised before you travel all the way to the bar. My mother, visiting, wearing smart leather sandals turned away because the policy was "no flip flops". Only this since both of us were dressed smartly (I had come straight from work). I've been told by others that this policy is not enforced and there are far less dressed people in the bar. Hypocritical behaviour and possible shady transactions yeah, no thanks .

Incredible 180 degree view of Hong Kong Island. Drinks not cheap but didn’t have any of the issues highlighted in other reviews regarding payments. Would recommend for a few drinks to enjoy sunset.

Great view & atmosphere, awful "signature" drinks. I wasn't able to find anything that sounded like it'd be a good combination, but I finally settled on a SoCo drink since I like whiskey, but it ended up being a very distasteful combination. I opened up a tab before trying the drink, but then closed it immediately after.

It is a scam bar. Paid the bill with a cash card and after inserting the pin was told the transaction failed (but with no receipt of the failure). Then paid a second time with a credit card. A few minutes later I got a text message from my bank that the first card was also billed. The bar manager refused to give me back the money. I called the TMT police (phone 3661 9200) and filed a report. The day after I contacted the Consumer Council (phone 2929 2222) and fileed a complaint. The bar manager keeps denying any wrong doing so I would need to sue him to get my money back. Hopefully I will be able to cancel the second charge on the credit card.

nice rooftop bar where you can sit outside and watch over Victoria Harbour and enjoy the HK Island skyline at night.
No open shoes allowed. Drinks were good.

Great view but the drinks are overpriced. They will also place nuts at your table and charge you $25 for them if you eat them without making you aware. A small bowl of nuts should be complimentary given the price of the drinks, $60 just for a glass of Coca-cola and $120 for a single gin and tonic.

Breath taking views, especially during the light show. The oysters are some of the finest and most tasty I ever had. Drinks are strong. Overall fantastic experience.

The view from the outside bar was great, drinks were a bit pricey but were good. We had a great time but wished there fans as it was super hot and the speakers for the music were not so good.

Pros:
1. Great view of Victoria Harbour
2. High ceilings give an airy roomy feel

Cons
1. The outdoor terrace is right underneath a air conditioning unit. It makes a loud, distracting whirring sound that competes with the music and conversations, and imo detracts from the enjoyment of gorgeous view
2. Terrace is often packed, even on a Monday night
3. You'll be uncomfortable on the backless chairs
4. Bar staffed is outnumbered

This is a very bad place. We ordered a lot, then as we brought a small birthday cake. they charge us 110hkd for nothing. Just for bringing birthday cake. There is much better than this one with bigger rooftop. DON'T Go where people steal your money. If I work hard, it's not for wasting my money in a futile excuse like that

Was there for the evening view. They are efficient in selling you some overpriced drink quickly, so would be hard to stay there for some minutes without buying anything. The view is good but e.g. compared with the ICC far below (also in height, the bar is only the 30 floor). Advantage is that you have no glass between you camera and the view on the terrace of Eyebar.

You really can't beat the view that's on offer. Obviously there are loads of places you can get a great view in HK but this has to be amongst the best. Cockyltails are good without being exceptional. A touch expensive for what you get but a small price to pay for the view. They do make you pay for peanuts you won't order but its a small price to pay. Staff were attentive

The view is amazing! The place has great potential. I've been here many times, to show visitors the awesome view on the skyline, because it is awesome. but unfortunately the experience is bad every single time. The staff is rude to customers, make you pay for a soggy cup of peanuts, that are served without being ordered, and when you send the peanuts back (since I don't want them) the staff refuses to give you a table, unless you tip. The service has put me off of this place, despite the great view. There are many other places with a similar view, and way better service, that give a welcoming feeling to my visitors to the city.
